Having said all of that I agree with some of the other comments D-low's winner compilation from SBX kickback battle 2021 is the chefs kiss, so many techniques in that one.
He is holding what we call.a "Hyoutan", a dried gourd vegetable as some have already stated. In a video with Rofu (a Japanese beatboxing duo who were once crowned Asian Champions) he said it was "his friend" hehe. I think he just feels more comfortable holding something. I had a tiny hyoutan once which was made so that if you look through the tiny end, inside there was a hologram with a magnifier so you could see an image. It was pretty cool.

VERY RARELY there’s two sounds going on at the same time. Thing are coming so fast that it sounds like everything is happening at the same time.
But like some other dude said, you’ve barely even scratched the surface of beatbox. There is so much talent, so many different kinds of beatboxers.
Try “Ice - GBB wildcard” very technical. Same with Zer0, also insanely technical, he’s almost like a full drum kit.

The thing he is holding is suppose to be a Gourd Bottle. (Back in ancient Asia they dried up the Calabash vegetable, and gutted the inside and made it into a bottle for drink). The one he has is just a stuff toys of the Gourd Bottle.

You guys could learn a really cool beatbox technique, it's called a crab scratch. And it sounds like a dj scratching, you can use it with hip hop beats to add a scratching effect. And it's a beginner technique super easy to learn since it doesn't require any skill

Gbb claims monetization on 2021 battles (but they can be uploaded), anything before 2021 should be clear. Reacting to livestream will 100% be taken down though, because it takes them a while to release official videos so they don’t allow reactions until those are out.
That unique sound that show go is doing is called double voice, I’m pretty sure he was the creator of the sound, you should check out the polyphonic voice sound or the tongue whistle

6:05 If you really like both then you can probably freestyle while beatboxing. You don't have to be the amazing at either one, but if you're decent at both and can blend them that'll be amazing. It's just like what you said about his singing. There a some beatboxers that really dive into having the deepest, craziest bass sound... something Show-go probably can't do... but to me he's the best overall because he brings many elements together, including singing, very musically.
