Yeah man. Show-GO is just such an absolute joy to listen to. I really enjoy the super heavy people like listening to Remix or Azel, but at the end of the day, something this clean and cohesive would pretty much always take the cake for me as far as casual listening. I think with Show-GO you know the crowd reaction would also be there, as well. So wouldn't been too worried about losing favor for the crowd not being into it.
Show Go never leaves my personal top 3 beatboxers of all time. Not just for his ability, but his genuine love of performing and having people hear his music - it's not just about winning competitions for him.
That's a problem of the competitions, people believe that the best beatboxers are those who won competitions, even if those beatboxers are just the best battlers
@@lifeisoverrated7167 totally agree, winning a big competition puts the beatboxers name out there and more people will find out about that beatboxer as a result, but they then miss out on so many others.
I like how he actually kept it melodic and rhythmic (to an actual steady beat) and did all those different techniques. Some dudes just throw all their shit out there and while incredible, don't really have great rhythm. Like you can't really follow along with them.
Very true. They throw out a really cool beat for only one measure and you're like oh bring that back but they just keep throwing different random stuff out there. Also fluctuating greatly with their tempo. That type of thing always throws me off.
Great video. I think Show Go is one of the best at structuring or formatting his routines into full and complete songs. Containing all the modern parts, verses chorus' buildups breakdowns etc. And put together in a cohesive satisfying aurally pleasing song.
WOW! You got the technique pretty immediately. Great analysis. Most people don't realize that your falsetto starts at a lower note, going up to a higher note in mixed voice. Like you said, it's difficult to learn. Great video!
Great video as always bro… 😐👍 It’s hard to pick a favorite beatboxer, but I think that if I was forced to, I’d pick Show-Go. (In my opinion) he makes the best songs that are just solo beatbox routines. I hope you keep practicing double voice… it’d be cool to hear you be able to do it consistently.
I love this guy, and enjoyed your reaction! He's amazing 🥰 this was so cool I could never do anything like that 😂 I believe what he is holding is a traditional 'bottle' for saki but I'm not 100% sure
@@axelguity9980 Codfish and Tomazacre are amazing, but in my opinion not as Show-Go is. I'm not sure about D-Low. Anyway, Show-Go's technique is perfect, so clean and musically enjoyable.
Huh. I'd never heard of Show-Go before, which might be the greatest disappointment of my life, so thanks for introducing him to me. Jeeeeeez, his singing voice alone is enough to keep me listening forever, but his beatboxing is absolutely nuts. Who on earth managed to place higher than him!? I'm missing out, apparently, because this is heavenly...
Increíble, escuché y vi cosas maravillosas durante mi vida pero jamás pensé que iba a ver un video de un elfo del señor de los anillos reaccionar a Show-go.
bro..i cant even do it once i wish i could but ya this video did help explain it even further (grant it show-go is a beast) but with your explanation even further i might give it more of a try to learn
I trained to learn only double voice for 2 weeks and got it nice and cleeeean. Was so happy as its such a quality sound ☺️ almost everyone can learn it...
Hey David! your uploads make my day every time! can you check out Den's GBB2021 Wilcard? He demonstrates some unique bass techniques that I think you would like. Keep it up!
amazing explanation and overview kinda like making a ambulance sound, fast, while missing all the tones in between the points youre trying to use. Difficult as fuck
Hi David, I know this isn't related to this video but I was doing a science project related to guitar harmonic intervals and I thought they might be similar to subharmonics. (I don't know if you've said this before in another vid) Can you send a link to a chart that says each harmonic interval and its relationship to the fundamental (e.g. 1st harmonic - one octave, 2nd harmonic- octave +5th and so on)?
Do you think you could try to decipher how Diana Ankudinova produces her subharmonics? Particularly the subharmonics while belting. Inquiring minds would really like to figure it out. Sometimes it sounds like Khoomei mixed with head voice, other times it's like polyphonic overtones but the fundamental is the high harmony, and then there are times where it sounds like subharmonic register minus vocal fry. There are also times where she does have the audible vocal fry onset, but drops out of it without losing the note. A few of her performances that demonstrate her subharmonics: Some kind of polyphonic overtone/subharmonic not using vocal fry. Wicked Game (Chris Isaak cover) - ruclips.net/video/7jv-DQnf2UY/видео.html Vocal fry onsets, but drops out of fry while still maintaining the harmonics. It's the second song in the set. Take On Me (A-ha cover) - ruclips.net/video/mp8C9WybLxE/видео.html No idea on this one. It's like she's both ascending and descending in pitch at the same time. Rechenka (Russian Folk Song) - ruclips.net/video/35Dwo4QVLqs/видео.html I've heard her do a backstage rehearsal for this song and it's pretty much exactly the same with just a microphone and an amp. Human (Rag'N'Bone Man Cover) - ruclips.net/video/-KgD666fRtY/видео.html The fry is more audible on the offsets here. Blizzard - ruclips.net/video/1_4lFqKM3GA/видео.html Last but not least. Subharmonic belting. It is both loud and ridiculous in tone. Can't Help Falling In Love (Elvis Presley) - ruclips.net/video/M-znD6QKbrg/видео.html
Ive worked so hard on having smoot transitions between head and falsetto that this feels almost impossible. Like ignoring everything ive practiced lmao. Its amazing though
Old video but that is a very old ancient Japanese water bottle that Show go is hold it respresence is Japanese heritage I only know because my man is Japanese and he has some of those water bottles
Y’all go stream my new song plz 🖤

Show go is just so special 😍
Richtiger Ehrenmann
agreed
ESH.
He is so insane here 😍
Yes he is!!
Showgo is such a gift to the community, hes mad talented and always had really creative songs and combos

Aimlessly Meandering is what I call it..
Showgo has song structure and melodic and rhymic passages that draw the listener in more so then others
David really just used the BEST word to discribe Show-Go, finesse, and in the beatbox game, I'd say he's the best at the moment

Show go is on a level of perfection far above anyone else...every sound is as clean and perfect that it could possibly be.
Love this show-go analysis! Any chance of a reaction/analysis to Den’s bass techniques in the future?
Lemme just tell you fast, den is using helium inward bass
@@VertexMobin sure, but it’s different to hear his reaction and analysis
he is basically doing the same as showgo
but inward
switching between inward bass and inward falsetto/head voice

Legolas? It's been so long old friend!
Dope beatboxer.. 💯🔥🌶💯🔥🌶
Beatboxer: does casual high pitch voice crack
"Pro" vocalist: there it is... double voice

My mans sound like a saxophone
