I say these type exercises are ok once you built a foundation..I still think mark from starting strength is correct..build up you squat, ohp, dead’s, cleans, bench first...non of those db swings will do much unless you already packed on some good weight and strength.

The exercises are good, but baseball players already repeat these movement patterns constantly in practice and in game. This kind of training will cause overuse injuries. Wouldn’t they benefit more from exercises like lawn mower pulls and external shoulder rotations and strengthening their posterior chain? since they are constantly doing the opposite, correcting their posture with what they don’t usually do will lead to greater structural integrity of their body
