It always amazes me how Marc can write impossible finger-twisting riffs but still can play it live while moving around and banging his head off. What a legend
Shoutout to Sam for keeping it up despite his issues with the kick drum trigger that night, what a legend. Can't believe they played Subject Zero, most underrated VoM song of all time, would die to see an instrumental show like this.
I was there front row singing/screaming almost every word. Such an awesome experience. It sucks that Lukas was sick, but how many people can say they’ve seen an instrumental Veil of Maya set? As far as I know, this is the only one they’ve ever done, and it was incredible. Edit: lol I can see myself in this video
I drove three hours and stayed the night in Portland to see this. so worth it. time flies, and suddenly it's been 15 years since I first heard Veil. I'll always love their unique style.
Incredible portion of sonic energy. They blew the air away & fired the audience mindsets. Mind blowing performance. Raw power at its best. Fierce & killing gig. No words.
BoO was supposed to be last but changed because of the instrumental decision last minute. I'd assume they are rotating nights, similar to LMTF and Polaris did.

I've been looking for a live video of Marc playing like this. Thank you.
It's my pleasure, getting to witness this was a crazy experience!

I came about 2 hours south for it too since no Seattle date! They are incredible every time I see them!

Hell yeah. Finally a full set of a show I went to. They killed even without Lukas. Great show.
