Hey Guys I'm the guy who filmed this clip and uploaded it. Just wanted to say I loved reading all your great comments. Just a background about Ultimate Warrior, he ALWAYS stood the entire time he met his fans and showed them respect. He never rushed any fan and spent time however long the fan wanted to talk. And another thing that may shock you all is he had a great memory and would recognise you if he met you again a few years later. Warrior loved his fans and knew his fans made him who he was. Warrior didn't know I was filming this video and his reaction was as real as it can be. A real genuine soul
Thank you catching this memorable moment on film! It is the most beautiful interaction I have ever seen of a fan meeting his ultimate hero. WARRIOR FOREVER!
I'm friends with Fabrizio on Facebook. The man is built. He's into bodybuilding and looks alot like Warrior.. The legacy of the Ultimate Warrior truly lives on his fans.
You wouldn't hardly believe that after you you heard a story about how he didn't show up for a meeting with a terminal ill child a long time ago and acted like a total asshole. Guess it shows he mellows to out when he retires or hasn't been wrestling.
@@charlesgebhart2024 Or maybe that story was a complete fabrication. Even back in the days it's documented that Warrior was always incredible with fans.

I hear people saying Warrior is bitter and other things and I have no comment on that but this man has every right to express his thoughts and opinions. All I have to say is that the Warrior is an absolute Hero and should be respected. This video could bring a tear to a grown man. Excellent. Like if you agree.
Something kids today won't understand. We didn't have a straight line to these guys as kids. We didn't have Twitter, facebook. dirt sheets. We got to see 4, maybe 5 matches and it was a midcarder vs a jobber. Then we may get to see Hulk Hogan or Warrior if we're lucky. What we saw on TV was something we thought we would never meet. They were larger than life. Today, in order to get their attention all you have to do is badmouth them on twitter and they WILL respond.

Well said sir, to meet someone like the ultimate warrior was like an impossible dream. Like you said, as a kid, I was just happy If I got a chance to see someone like warrior in a 2 minute squash match against some jobber. And there were only 4 pay per views a year back then. What a moment!

Ultimate Warrior was great back in the day. Always will be my favourite wrestler. I've got a lot of fond memories of him when I was growing up in the 80s/90s watching WWF. Wow, now compare this with meeting somebody like William Shatner. You are not allowed to speak to him, and you get to pose with him for 4 seconds before you are pushed out of the back of the booth. Warrior, you are a legend, we will never forget you.
I know a lot of people sh*t on the Warrior and his eccentricities, but I got a lot of respect for any wrestler or celebrity who takes this kind of time to acknowledge and respect his fans like this. Say what you will about him, but he "gets" the fact that his fans are everything to him and never once made that kid ashamed for his feelings about his childhood hero. The Warrior deserves his respect as far as I'm concerned.

what you have to understand is, back when i was a kid, Warrior was a superhero. he didnt go on tv and talk about "his latest movie" like wrestlers do today. we never saw his guy out of character ever. that's why none-smart marks or people who grew up watching him have alot of fond memories of him. he was such a cool character.
Warrior was something more. Many people and some of his peers like to bash Warriors promos. But I believe they were actually very deep, almost biblical at times. Great character, good honest man. RIP Warrior.
Yes, I just said almost the same thing. People like to make fun of his promos but when he’s calling out to his little warriors he’s calling out to this nice young man in Italy and millions just like him. The warriors lives inside of him and he’s been forever changed by it. So if yoU wanna hate on the warriors promos, go ahead, but just know that he inspired a generation of young boys who are now grown men forever changed by the those promos and the warrior lives forever in us.

This is my first time watching this video and I felt for this fan as if I was the one who met The Ultimate Warrior. Mind you, I am no fan who grew up watching the legend in the 80's, but still, you can tell Warrior meant a lot to the guy.
The internet has bashed Warrior more than any other wrestler in history. But what many don't understand is, that Warrior was legitimately millions of kids first Super hero. He was a superhero come to life straight from a comic book. For this person it was clearly the equivalent of meeting Superman in the flesh. What an incredible surreal moment. I grew up adoring the UW, he had a massive impact on my childhood, I would have probably been the same as this guy, crying and pinching myself.
The fact that he was so overwhelmed by the moment that he started walking away without his autographs brought some nice comic relief to the moment, but more importantly it gave warrior the chance to say "I love you too!"
so nice to see people meeting there idols, alot of people grew up without fathers and role models were all they looked up to..very nice to see the warrior took time to see fans..what a great guy :)
Its wonderful to see a fan get satisfaction when they finally meet their idol. And their idol SHOW RESPECT to their fans. I know from personal experience the disapointment in meeting someone you look up too and it blows big time. Good for the fan!! and Good for WARRIOR showing the fan that years and years of being a fan didnt go to waste! 5 stars!
I have seen lots of wrestlers and have met lots of wrestlers, I gotta tell you, the way the Warrior just treated that fan can be summed up in one word "Class".
I watched this clip just a few weeks later of its posting on RUclips back in 2008 and it touched my heart back then. Now on 29 July 2018 after four years of Warrior's unexpected demise.. Gosh can't stop the moisture of my eyes seeing this decade old video steeped in emotions, nostalgia and grief. Warrior was and still is my biggest inspiration from the world of sports and just can't stop myself thinking about him every other fortnight or month. RIP Warrior you was a big part of my childhood in late 1980s.
There’s nothing pretend about this fella it’s just a massive warm feeling to see this kind of genuine interaction.Bless you Ultimate warrior (I’m not religious)Rest in peace big man!
A lot of wrestlers say Warrior was very much at peace after some bad blood with wrestlers during 80s & early 90s. HHH Talked about how humble & sincere he was at his re-intro to wwe at hof & the mnr after. The speech he gave at raw that night was bone chilling. Mentioning " Every man breathes their last breath". But remain immortal & ultimate. Love him still!!! RIP to my favorite of all time.
I think all the stories about the Ultimate Warrior being an ass hole are bull shit. There are alot of videos of the Warrior on RUclips, and in every one of them he comes across as an incredibly intellegent, articulate, respectful and classy guy.
Great to see Warrior treat this fan so well. How refreshing to see somebody's idol live up to their expectations. Whatever people think of Warrior, this was a classy moment.
This is pretty cool. Warrior wrote a book on the poster autograph too. Mint condition stuff he kept with the Warrior, and I don't think Warrior had any idea how to take it.
People can say what they want about his wrestling skills and such, but one thing is clear, he was one of wrestlings greatest showmen and a damn good guy in person!
Love him or hate him, Warrior Man cared deeply about his fans, they loved him and he loved them right back. RIP Warrior; may your spirit run forever *snarls*

I grew up adoring the UW, he had a massive impact on my childhood, I would have probably been the same as this guy, crying and pinching myself.
He met his hero in person! An emotional moment for him! Warrior must've loved his belief in him as a fan!
I love you forever Warrior...RIP
The fact that he was so overwhelmed by the moment that he started walking away without his autographs brought some nice comic relief to the moment, but more importantly it gave warrior the chance to say "I love you too!"
Thats touching. You can tell Warrior was touched by that.
so nice to see people meeting there idols, alot of people grew up without fathers and role models were all they looked up to..very nice to see the warrior took time to see fans..what a great guy :)
5 stars!
Goosebumps
I dont think I was ever this moved by a fans interaction with his hero. I'm blown away. That was incredibly beautiful.
I come back to this video a few times a year because it’s just so emotionally intense and beautiful and honest. The warrior lives forever in US!
I have seen lots of wrestlers and have met lots of wrestlers, I gotta tell you, the way the Warrior just treated that fan can be summed up in one word "Class".
Say what you want but this man cared about every fan he ever had. Rip warrior. Miss you
See this clip make me cry, i can understand how much he loves n adores warrior as we do, as our childhood hero, RIP MR. WARRIOR
This was touching and Warrior looked legitimately touched by this fan crying over the fact he's talking to his hero
Warrior has just gone WAY up in my respect list.
There’s nothing pretend about this fella it’s just a massive warm feeling to see this kind of genuine interaction.Bless you Ultimate warrior (I’m not religious)Rest in peace big man!
He was a big inspiration to many people.
I love that guy.
From one Warrior fan to another, this was beautiful to watch.
Grande Zuffi. Per me numero uno, amici sportivi.
The first Super Hero in Wrestling! Thanks Warrior for being my hero when I was a kid!
Bless them both, I can only imagine how that young man felt when Warrior passed. Never seen this before and it brought a tear to my eye.
This is pretty cool. Warrior wrote a book on the poster autograph too. Mint condition stuff he kept with the Warrior, and I don't think Warrior had any idea how to take it.
It's good that Warriior is being baby-faced and not acting like a heel at this event.
That's Awesome
Grande zuffi
I was there then. Great day.
People can say what they want about his wrestling skills and such, but one thing is clear, he was one of wrestlings greatest showmen and a damn good guy in person!
Love him or hate him, Warrior Man cared deeply about his fans, they loved him and he loved them right back.
RIP Warrior; may your spirit run forever *snarls*
mate, I still got my Ultimate Warrior teddy thing from when he held the belt 18/19 yrs ago! :D
Warrior is always going to be a great, no matter what detractors may say.
Always Believe!
