He is the definition of cool. Not only because of the perfect trumpet playing and his pretty face. I love his answers and his honesty.
Pure Genius- besides perfection on the horn, he is full of wit, charm, sincerity and brain-power. I have complete love for this incredible creature. Also blessed and encouraged with such a rare human being

He is so sexy. Not only is he extremely talented, he's smart, funny, dedicated, hard working...such an inspirational artist. I respect and admire him greatly.
It is SO nice to see and hear someone who is just, true. To himself, to his music, present, passionate, from the heart. I play trumpet, and I can only hope to share Chris' enthusiasm and commitment to music. And to Ernie: Thank YOU for your intelligent and insightful questions. A perfect combination. BRAVO!
I feel and think the same Jeff. Well said. Thank you so much for being so cool. Much love
This interview just shows that he's a genuine guy. I've only been playing the trumpet for about two years now in high school so I've been looking solely at the logistics of playing the instrument, but Chris Botti has got to be the most important driving force behind my success in practice sessions. If I don't have class I'm in the band room; when I'm not in the band room I'm usually listening to Chris Botti.
I play piano, violin and a couple more non-brass instruments, and i am same way. Somehow im not better just as music, a better person 1st of all
