Have fun guys :) love all your videos and wait every week to see what's going on. Be safe . I'll be looking forward to next week:) Thank you both for sharing all you do .
I remember going under sail from Channel Islands Harbor to San Diego, and between Catalina Island and SD, seeing lots of Navy vessels and hearing some Navy radio traffic about what might be a submarine. I told the captain we might want to turn on the engine, as a submarine might not be able to ID us when under sail only.
Us too! We were short time because we needed to get Sea Venture to Ensenada so we could fly back up to the northwest for the birth of our 2nd grandchild.
Yes, we stay in touch with Phil and Claire. Sea Venture will be in Puerto Escondido starting in June of 2023 for hurricane season as well. Thanks for watching, Jim
@@CruisingSeaVenture you brought back many good memories of Dana Point and such. We’re headed up to Bahia Los Angeles and then back to PV in November. Hoping to make it thought the Panama Canal in January. If you come to PV first as we did consider La Cruz.
Hey guys hope all is well, must be in Mexico by now. Miss your vids. Enjoy the Mexican winter
Wow, really neat to see you inSan Diego! The sailors on John P. Murtha, most likely knew who you were and were excited to see you in SD. Stay classy!

Wow, the color of that water! Love seeing the warship. What amazing travels! Be safe and take care, can't wait for your next video!
Another great video. Thanks so much for sharing the adventure.
Love your videos
Our greatest cruising features around here are the Channel Islands and Catalina. Definitely worth the cruse out there.
Landing Ship Dock 26 John Murtha. Cool company to be floating with.

I pray for light winds and calm seas :)
Hope Sea Venture did fine with the storm. Looked like it got a little stormy around Ensenada
Sea Venture did just fine. Winds in the marina peaked at around 40-45 knots.
@@CruisingSeaVenture Great to hear. Typical winter storm in the PNW. :-)
Where have you guys been? Is everything ok?
You were in the harbor not the bay. They're 2 entirely different waterways.
Thanks for the correction.
Guess you have delayed moving south because of all the storms in the Pacific along Mexican coast. Scary thought facing all those storms. Take care.
Also, insurance restrictions stop off from going further south at this time of the year.
Lekker man lekker 🇿🇦
I am surprised you did not stop at Catalina Island.
Us too! We were short time because we needed to get Sea Venture to Ensenada so we could fly back up to the northwest for the birth of our 2nd grandchild.
It is an excellent stop. We enjoyed our visits there.
AIS has them going into Tijuana and nothing since.
