Thanks man! I appreciate that a lot. Looking back I wish I focused more time and energy on different aspects and NW and admin.. I was gonna make a part 2 and it never happened.
ok you control your drone perfectly it captivate me. and THEN you put up the best song from explosion in the sky.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you are my hero. thanks for the video
A non-profit called The PreservationWorks has successfully worked with Poughkeepsie to keep this beautiful piece of American history standing. Although they failed with Greystone, hopefully we'll see this building restored once again.
This is so awesome because now it's going to become part of some type of apartments or it's going to be used for something commercial; like, just like every other abandoned place that is bought and fixed up. And I'm extremely sad about it because I've seen this before in person and it's incredible. The Kirkbride layout of it is something that isn't very commonly found now a days.
excellent vid you kept yourself out of danger by using your drone excellent work on this! this was one the most beautiful kirkbrides remaining unfortunately they are probably going to demo this kirkbride [damaged too much] ty
excellent video Bryan, what do you use for a drone ?, as i'm looking into buying one, that one scene at the 8:40 mark is awesome when you enter through the opening in the side of the building, then go down the hallway !
Thank you! I use a Phantom 2 with a go pro and gimbal. Always use OEM batteries as my drone is now out of commission after dropping from about 80 feet on two occasions.
My grandmother was there in 1968. She had a stroke after one week and died 3 months later...she was 66 years old. She wasn't insane...she recently lost her husband and her only son had just left for Vietnam the previous year. She was depressed... plain and simple. Nothing abnormal or unusual. Only some physician thought otherwise and shipped her off to this place!
Forever will always be the best video ever done of this place and time...

The building looks really spooky in it's state of ruins.💀💀

They did crazy things in those days, and it's not really that long ago. Appalling
The administration building caught fire this morning
it probably was arson the 1st fire reported was caused by a lightning strike thats what i heard
