- This is the story of my terrible A Level Results Day experience, but also the story of how it worked out in the end (- and it will for you too).
I hope you got great A Level grades today, but if not, I hope seeing someone who went through the same (and can tell you it DOES get better) makes it 0.1% easier.

You had a rollercoaster of a journey, Sam! I am currently waiting for unis in Ireland and Spain to get back to me and my sooner future is quite uncertain. I got 4A's and waiting on a remark to hopefully get A*AAA and have solid chances in Ireland. Either way, I am sure it will work out! Loved this one : )

hi sam. I cant believe how similar your story is to mine at the moment. So I'm just out of year 13. I was applying to do econ Bsc, my firm choice was birmingham for AAB and insurance was Kent for BBC. Come results day, my grades were A*BC. I kindve just reesigned to going to Kent, but then I got a phone call. My maths department rung me up to tell me that I was 2 marks of a B and that i coukd request a remark. They believe it is quite likely that I will be marked up, bringing me to A*BB. Then I rung up Birmingham, and asked if they could hold my space, as it would be the equivalent of my offer. However, they said that they were oversubscribed and that they wouldn't hold my space. So now I'm here. I'm still going to kent, but I'm not sure I want to be going there. I kinfve want to resit my Econ to get an A, which i believe I can do. I'm not sure if I want to take a gap year at the moment. Rely appreciate the video though. Thanks

I am actually looking at Oxford, Durham, Nottingham, and Bristol to apply to next year. Also considering Manchester and Southampton. What did you like about the Durham, Nottingham, and Bristol Classics departments when you looked into where you would apply ?
Tbh didn't look at them v closely but high enough in league rankings
@@Sam.Kramer That was the first thing I looked at too. Southampton seems like it has a very good Classics department for a somewhat lower ranked, but still highly ranked, uni.
