    This darn process for a rainbow Skinner Blend actually scared me, can you imagine, but since I saw how easy it was, I tried it and, wala! it's beautiful, I love it!
    Thanks again Cindy, you seem to be able to think I can do anything!
    Take care,
    Joy

      I agree. Cindy has an easy and comfortable style for presenting her knowledge. After watching her tutorials it is almost as if I spent time with a friend, not someone I have never met. I consider Cindy to be an invaluable asset to anyone lucky enough to discover her clay-related tutorials. She speaks to us. She does not preach or speak 'down' on us - as if she were dealing with people beneath her. Her teaching style works best for my learning needs. Her way is comfortable and it fits my learning process. I am grateful for her willingness to share via RUclips.
      For those making rude remarks please feel free to leave the channel. You did not pay for the free knowledge. Rudeness and negativity can block the creative process. The focus of this channel is to be supportive, informative and kind. Team Leitz has and projects those skills.

    I want to make rainbow long hair for a little mermaid using the pasta machine setting that makes strands ...how do I do this please? I don't want to roll one by one as the machine cuts plain colours beautifully for long curls!

      I'm sorry Donna DeCicco I thought I said what colors those were in the video. The three colors I used were, Fuchsia, Turquoise and Sunshine Yellow Premo. That should help!

    is there a way to turn a skinner blend into something thicker like a ball? I want to make a thick roundish heart shape that has the cool ombre effect of a skinner blend, but skinner blends are flat, and I'm not sure how to turn it into something thick like a ball while having a nice, gradual ombre effect.

    I saw on a website that you can increase the translucency of translucent liquid Sculpey by adding a little sculpey clay softener to the mixture. Judging by the pictures on the website it looked like it had less bubbles and it was more flexible and very clear compared to just using TLS by itself. Whats your opinion on it?

    • @PolymerClayTutor
      @PolymerClayTutor  10 лет назад +1

      Hi corneater23 that sounds like a very good test for the PcT Test Lab. Will have to add it to the list!

    instead of using and handing such a long strip is there a reason you do not simply cut it into hand able lengths starting the 2nd, 3rd etc starts at the cut of 1st 2nd etc ends?

    • @PolymerClayTutor
      @PolymerClayTutor  Год назад

      Yes you can definitely cut the strip to make it easier to handle. The only downside is if you don't make a clean join where you add the next piece in... it might show as a break in the blend. Doing the cuts that stop and start on the edges would help, but that is trickier to plan for, but completely doable.

    hi I want to ask if its alright to put freshly baked polymer charms in cold water while its still hot to cool it down or something.

    • @PolymerClayTutor
      @PolymerClayTutor  10 лет назад

      Hi DokiDokiCrafts Yes you can definitely put hot baked polymer clay charms in cold water to cool them faster. Some people say it makes them harder, but I'm not convinced. It doesn't hurt them though, so you can do it if you want.

    i am a celtic artist thinking of using clay to bring my knot drawings to "liife' i am thinking this would involve working with thin ribbons of clay layed out on a map of the knot. has this been done before? I need a new medium to work with and clay seems the most versatile. Any advice would be helpful.
