Thanks coach! The break down between z wilson and t lawrence spotlights the difference between using your hips and over-striding. I think there may be an instinctual reaction to stride rather than rotate.
Zach Wilson needs to take another year at the university before he declares for the draft. He’s got potential but he really needs to work on his IQ and threat detection. Oh, what… Oh, I’m being told that Zach is currently signed to the New York Football Jets… a professional team. Oh, oh dear. May God have mercy on that fan base
Hey coach, recently I've been missing a lot of throws high and right. Today I realized it was because I tend to have a pretty undisciplined front side, where my elbow sort of swings down, making my release point incredibly inconsistent. Any drills you reccomend to help me fix this issue?
I am going to be posting a video on this later today that will help! I have my guys hold a football in their front hand and stand in front of a nitro or myself and practice their motion. Holding the football in their front hand, they need to keep it by their face and follow through with their throwing side. Holding an object in your front hand will force you to keep the hand up high and front side disciplined because if you swing open or down you will really feel it
Hey coach I got a lot of equipment for football to get better and I need help on what drills I should be using so she got me a Speed Parachute Ladders Cones Wide Receiver training gloves for finger tips & A football with a bouncing end so I can throw it up against a wall and catch it. Are there any drills you recommended me using that implements all of them?
So for a speed parachute I would honestly say just running sprints, for a ladder there are a million things you can do I would just look up ladder drills on youtube and then for the rest I would look up “first down training wide receiver drills” and “first down training catching drills” and those can all help!
Zach needs to watch this video
Ouch 😂
