As a former employee at a 5 star hotel for over 30 years, I can tell you one observation I’ve made over the years, and that is, the classier the client, the less diva like they would be. In general, nothing says better“I am ghetto from the wrong side of the tracks” than a diva or divo (LOL), their ridiculous demands, and nasty attitude
I have known old money people in my life and they are almost always mannered and polite. They live well but not flashy. One drove a vintage right handed rolls and owned valuable items but otherwise you wouldn’t know he had money. He wasn’t the only one.
No amount of money, designer clothes or jewelry can impart class to a person who does not have it from inside. Being courteous to all including servants is the true mark of class.

I hadn’t heard of her either, and prior to meeting Harry she was pushing herself on the UN, trying to become a UN ambassador like actress Emma Watson. Suits only had something like 1.9 million viewers and it’s viewership didn’t even go up when it was announced she and Harry were dating. It’s nuts that she thought she deserved an ambassadorship.

Well, my grandmother was a seamstress and she made very nice clothes, and she knew how to transform worn clothes so that they looked like new. I do not think that the skills of our grandmothers should be underestimated.

She didn't have the height, the measurements, or alternatively, the name recognition to get the job in the first place, much less having people cow-towing to the demands. This is just the short list.... Also my Granny - raised in a German speaking community - not speaking any English. Grade 3 education. Widowed at a young age with 4 kids. Learned how to speak English, drive a car, provide for her family. She saved enough to give each of her granddaughters their first year's tuition for university. Those are admirable qualities.
Not to mention that QE2 had been the head of a centuries old, super powerful monarch starting in 1952! Q Elizabeth 2 was the poster woman for “working woman having it all!”! She had a loving his and, family, children, and ran an EMPIRE into her 90s - yet Markle seems to never recognize the magnificence of this matriarchy that SHE had a chance to be a part of!
MM has no chance to be in close company with such important women and be respected. She prefers to be with the uneducated poor girls who did not yet have a chance to study and understand the world as they would listen and even idolize her. Btw, Reitman’s is a fantastic low end fashion brand. Is it Chanel? No but if you want leggings that suck you in and look great, they got it. Need a casual dress with pockets? They got it. It’s a fantastic brand for this Canadian who can’t afford Chanel prices. Markel now wants to be on the production side of things. The easiest thing she could’ve said was that she admires Sarah Polley. We love Sarah Polley and she’s made the transition from in front of the camera to behind the camera with great success. Markle would never think of her or any other Canadian woman because she’s too obsessed with herself.

I've seen it both ways. Some famous, talented and gracious people, some talented people who are just awful. Probably the most gracious celeb I ever met was Dr. Seuss. John Travolta, not so much.

As an American who have lived in Canada for over 30 years I don’t ever recall the Reitman’s ad campaign. The fact that MM lacked model height, professionalism and had a miserable personality to represent an inexpensive Canadian clothing line is very bad marketing especially as her bad endorsement is totally unmemorable. Reitman’s should have deducted the cost of the expensive Aquazura shoes which she walked away with. She’s a real piece of work.
So many people say they didn’t know who she was when they saw those ads. She gets the credit for increasing ad sales, but their company was struggling and they hired Meghan to rejuvenate the brand. I wonder if the extra effort they put into marketing was ultimately the key and the girl in the add could have been anyone.

Ok, this makes me sick. I'm an actor and filmmaker from Montreal. How she acted was totally disgusting and also a very small world.. word gets around, NO one wants to work with a monster like that. They usually get black listed. And maybe after Suits... she did, thus funding a rich British guy was imperative! She never should have had so much creative input. And fyi, Reitmans is super low end but this was the job, she signed a contract, she had to know. This isn't Christian Dior!! And I remember seeing her in one of the ads and I had no clue who she was and found this unknown actor really annoying! LITTLE DID I KNOW!! And I've done commercial shoots and I also was the spokes person for a casino in Chicago and I HATE gambling and LOATHE being in casinos but I played the role to the best of my abilities because that's what I was being paid to do. I know exactly how these shoots go....this is NOT how anyone should act!! I always get along with everyone and treat everyone with respect, it doesn't cost a dime to be kind!! And I've worked with A list actors, some top Hollywood celebs who never acted like that. Most of them were amazing with everyone...a couple were a tad annoying but they're huge stars, you expect a bit of the Diva thing. The worst are the ones who are some where in the middle who are plagued with insecurities, who act like total monsters....like MEGAIN and a few others I've crossed paths with. Just get over yourself already!! And on set, the director is the BOSS!! SHUT UP AND DO YOUR F-ing JOB B*TCH!!! As an actor, you don't question the angles, shots, the lighting, where the boom guy should stand etc... it's none of your damn business, just stand on your mark and do what you're told. You can politely make a suggestion if you feel so inclined but unless it's absolutely a train wreck, stay out of it.... they have planned these shots down to every last detail and storyboarded it, especially a 30 second commercial. Honestly, having directed my own projects, I would have fired her on the first day and recast the role with someone who appreciated the opportunity. I don't understand why anyone put up with her behaviour. And honestly, I don't know how she managed to survive on a series for several seasons. There's no way that she was an angel on the set of Suits.

This is an excellent analysis of MM's diva behavior. And the message to MM is on point ... "Nobody cares about how you look, they care about how you made them feel". Because MM has left a trail of shocked, disappointed, confused, angry, and very hurt individuals (amongst staff, family, friends, film industry colleagues, and members of the public) on both sides of the pond. So it's not surprising that someone on the production team for the advert (20:50) commented: "She's definitely the meanest person I ever met" and (21:15) "She was a bully, with an entitlement complex, and had everyone walking on eggshells ... with sarcastic, condescending, demeaning criticism." And yet she is unstoppable !! Regardless of how many times people have called out her execrable behavior over the past few years, she is still supported by "the powers that be" in certain sectors of the US media. Her journalist pals always promote her puff pieces, and her agents always find her another gig!
But eventually she won’t get any work. Any agent who can’t get work for a client needs to move on or it will destroy THEIR reputation. If MM is that bad to work with (and I don’t doubt she is) then it doesn’t help an agent to have her as a client. Good agents will avoid her and lesser agents will take her in thinking they can handle her and then no one will work with her at all. It’s a slow train wreck, but a train wreck nonetheless.
So this the woman Harry has chosen to be with and also be the mother of his children. He must be a little concerned and annoyed by her by now, but has to figure out how he can continue to be with her. From what I have read about Harry this is not how he behaves around others.
After hearing this, I can see why her career in North America was done and why she went oversees. She did a Hallmark Movie. If she behaved like this to the people on set no wonder she never did another one. She did get small parts in film but most ended up on the cutting room floor and she never progressed. Im a retired journalist - I I interviewed all types. The most egotistical are actors. I interviewed UK household names. Theres a few that were lovely but generally, I couldnt stand them. Some tried to get me into trouble brcause I asked obvious questions The ego was unbelievable.

I’m Canadian, I used to shop at Reitmans often so I always paid attention to their commercials to see the actual clothes on a person(s). I can tell you I had no idea that was Meghan on that specific ad commercial you mentioned or if there were more after that. I’ve only learned about her whenever I went to Walmart and saw Harry and her on the cover of gossip magazines as I was lining up to pay. I honestly feel bad for Harry because it seems he hasn’t a clue who he really married and then to rush to have kids. If she was married before, why didn’t she rush to have kids with the husband? If Harry was the acceptable goal, then it’s obvious she got off birth control and made sure she got preggers right away. I think he would have broken things off if there were no kids. I also think he’ll stay and tolerate her as long as she allows it.

I'm from Toronto. A friend's boyfriend is a limo driver. His company drove for the Suit's cast and when he drove her they were told they were not allowed to speak to her when they drove her.
It look me many, many years to figure out how the people who behave in this vane seem to get the advances, promotions and raises (even while they can be incompetent and unfit for the positions), and the easy to get along with, nice, kind, and actually talented people don't. Eventually I realized sometimes it was the only way they eventually be fired, as I saw that happen more than once. I also figured out it was often the quickest way to get them out of the department, or at least a further distance away. But often by lucky accident they do get to the top, and they end up sinking the ship from there, I've seen that happen too.
Can you imagine what her household help goes through? They have to wear pants / cover legs at all time. They are not allowed to speak to her and they are not allowed to look at her. This reminds me so much of Barbra Streisand. On top of that, they have to flush Harry’s feces down the commode because he doesn’t flush or pick up his crusty underwear. Just lovely. It must be true that water finds its own level. How else would these two have found each other?

Quite a lot of good, nice and sincere women don't have a waistline either. It's quite strange how harshly Meghan's body is criticized, as if she could change it in any particular way. A couple of lower ribs can already be operated on(for waistline), calf implants can be placed in the legs(bc chickenlegs), and the abdominal connective tissue can be tightened(waistline). She can try to medically stretch the torso. Maybe she can try shortening her legs to improve her proportions 😁? But if she does all that, it won't be good again, it won't be "natural". Maybe we should focus more on her personality, behavior and relations with the world and people?

This is just the short list.... Also my Granny - raised in a German speaking community - not speaking any English. Grade 3 education. Widowed at a young age with 4 kids. Learned how to speak English, drive a car, provide for her family. She saved enough to give each of her granddaughters their first year's tuition for university. Those are admirable qualities.

Btw, Reitman’s is a fantastic low end fashion brand. Is it Chanel? No but if you want leggings that suck you in and look great, they got it. Need a casual dress with pockets? They got it. It’s a fantastic brand for this Canadian who can’t afford Chanel prices. Markel now wants to be on the production side of things. The easiest thing she could’ve said was that she admires Sarah Polley. We love Sarah Polley and she’s made the transition from in front of the camera to behind the camera with great success. Markle would never think of her or any other Canadian woman because she’s too obsessed with herself.

As an American who have lived in Canada for over 30 years I don’t ever recall the Reitman’s ad campaign. The fact that MM lacked model height, professionalism and had a miserable personality to represent an inexpensive Canadian clothing line is very bad marketing especially as her bad endorsement is totally unmemorable. Reitman’s should have deducted the cost of the expensive Aquazura shoes which she walked away with. She’s a real piece of work.

Ok, this makes me sick. I'm an actor and filmmaker from Montreal. How she acted was totally disgusting and also a very small world.. word gets around, NO one wants to work with a monster like that. They usually get black listed. And maybe after Suits... she did, thus funding a rich British guy was imperative! She never should have had so much creative input. And fyi, Reitmans is super low end but this was the job, she signed a contract, she had to know. This isn't Christian Dior!! And I remember seeing her in one of the ads and I had no clue who she was and found this unknown actor really annoying! LITTLE DID I KNOW!! And I've done commercial shoots and I also was the spokes person for a casino in Chicago and I HATE gambling and LOATHE being in casinos but I played the role to the best of my abilities because that's what I was being paid to do. I know exactly how these shoots go....this is NOT how anyone should act!! I always get along with everyone and treat everyone with respect, it doesn't cost a dime to be kind!! And I've worked with A list actors, some top Hollywood celebs who never acted like that. Most of them were amazing with everyone...a couple were a tad annoying but they're huge stars, you expect a bit of the Diva thing. The worst are the ones who are some where in the middle who are plagued with insecurities, who act like total monsters....like MEGAIN and a few others I've crossed paths with. Just get over yourself already!!
And on set, the director is the BOSS!! SHUT UP AND DO YOUR F-ing JOB B*TCH!!! As an actor, you don't question the angles, shots, the lighting, where the boom guy should stand etc... it's none of your damn business, just stand on your mark and do what you're told. You can politely make a suggestion if you feel so inclined but unless it's absolutely a train wreck, stay out of it.... they have planned these shots down to every last detail and storyboarded it, especially a 30 second commercial. Honestly, having directed my own projects, I would have fired her on the first day and recast the role with someone who appreciated the opportunity. I don't understand why anyone put up with her behaviour. And honestly, I don't know how she managed to survive on a series for several seasons. There's no way that she was an angel on the set of Suits.

And yet she is unstoppable !! Regardless of how many times people have called out her execrable behavior over the past few years, she is still supported by "the powers that be" in certain sectors of the US media. Her journalist pals always promote her puff pieces, and her agents always find her another gig!
She will only work with people who she picks and controls. She pays to make speeches and to attend events.
It's not that they specifically like her.....
They know with her on the front page they'll sell more.....
But eventually she won’t get any work. Any agent who can’t get work for a client needs to move on or it will destroy THEIR reputation. If MM is that bad to work with (and I don’t doubt she is) then it doesn’t help an agent to have her as a client.
Good agents will avoid her and lesser agents will take her in thinking they can handle her and then no one will work with her at all.
It’s a slow train wreck, but a train wreck nonetheless.
So this the woman Harry has chosen to be with and also be the mother of his children. He must be a little concerned and annoyed by her by now, but has to figure out how he can continue to be with her. From what I have read about Harry this is not how he behaves around others.
After hearing this, I can see why her career in North America was done and why she went oversees. She did a Hallmark Movie. If she behaved like this to the people on set no wonder she never did another one. She did get small parts in film but most ended up on the cutting room floor and she never progressed. I was thinking it was purely lack of talent but maybe there was more. What horrible behavior!
Im a retired journalist - I I interviewed all types. The most egotistical are actors. I interviewed UK household names. Theres a few that were lovely but generally, I couldnt stand them. Some tried to get me into trouble brcause I asked obvious questions

I’m Canadian, I used to shop at Reitmans often so I always paid attention to their commercials to see the actual clothes on a person(s). I can tell you I had no idea that was Meghan on that specific ad commercial you mentioned or if there were more after that. I’ve only learned about her whenever I went to Walmart and saw Harry and her on the cover of gossip magazines as I was lining up to pay. I honestly feel bad for Harry because it seems he hasn’t a clue who he really married and then to rush to have kids. If she was married before, why didn’t she rush to have kids with the husband? If Harry was the acceptable goal, then it’s obvious she got off birth control and made sure she got preggers right away. I think he would have broken things off if there were no kids. I also think he’ll stay and tolerate her as long as she allows it.

It look me many, many years to figure out how the people who behave in this vane seem to get the advances, promotions and raises (even while they can be incompetent and unfit for the positions), and the easy to get along with, nice, kind, and actually talented people don't. Eventually I realized sometimes it was the only way they eventually be fired, as I saw that happen more than once. I also figured out it was often the quickest way to get them out of the department, or at least a further distance away. But often by lucky accident they do get to the top, and they end up sinking the ship from there, I've seen that happen too.
Can you imagine what her household help goes through?
They have to wear pants / cover legs at all time. They are not allowed to speak to her and they are not allowed to look at her. This reminds me so much of Barbra Streisand.

It's quite strange how harshly Meghan's body is criticized, as if she could change it in any particular way. A couple of lower ribs can already be operated on(for waistline), calf implants can be placed in the legs(bc chickenlegs), and the abdominal connective tissue can be tightened(waistline). She can try to medically stretch the torso. Maybe she can try shortening her legs to improve her proportions 😁? But if she does all that, it won't be good again, it won't be "natural".

The layers are what she is presenting, what we see yes but the core is innately her, her narcissistic nature & personality. The character she forms is done by choice, influences, decisions, life experiences and ultimately to garner attention to fuel that core.
