Actually I'm With You has aged even better and how that album doesn't get the love it deserves is beyond me. When their lead single The Adventures Of Rain Dance Maggie is one of the worst songs off the album and the rest of the album is better, that's saying something. I think Rain Dance Maggie is the weakest lead single to any RHCP album but the rest of that album is amazing.

I couldn't agree with you more. I seen them at the U.S. Bank arena in Cincinnati Ohio last Friday night and they were incredible. They started with Josh, Flea, and Chad jamming then Anthony came out and Flea started playing the bass line to Around the world. I though that place was about to explode!
After the departure of Frusciante you can't even hear at all the guitar. it's like they don't even have a guitarist, just bass, vocals and Will Ferell on drums. Very cool song though, loved it.

As a kid I rejected this band purely based off their name. Goes to show you how ignorant I was. Best part was I loved beavis and butthead especially the do America movie. I suggest you listen to songs like Goodbye Angels, Feasting on the flowers and The Longest Wave. You'll know how epic the riffs are.
Funk rhythm always there and when it's not there are chords with some ambiant chorus effect. You just fail to hear it. It's not even subtle.

As a kid I rejected this band purely based off their name. Goes to show you how ignorant I was. Best part was I loved beavis and butthead especially the do America movie.
