When you're totally sick of crime, vice and every sick story a twisted mind can think of. This sweet little book is ideal for a bedtime read. Thank you dear Author and Reader
I truly appreciate these clean romances. They're such a refreshing change from the "entertainment " that's constantly being produced. It's a bit like getting a perfect steak when you were expecting a fast food hamburger 😊
Thank you Jennie for your wonderful stories. Your clean romances are divine and help to make my days better, brighter and more hopeful. May God continually bless you and your family. 💜🙏🏾🕊
Thank you! Next (unfortunately) you'll have to wait in real time because I have no more existing books that I can turn into audio. I have to actually write them first, ha ha. The sequel to A Whimsical Notion comes out in July but my narrator probably won't get it to me until August because she's away. So that's the next one coming out.
Hi Louise, I received an email where you asked about my next novella but now I can't find your comment. The next one comes out May 15th. So it's a bit of a wait. I don't write fast enough, which might have something to do with the three teens in my house. However, the next novella will be longer than this one - about 3 times as long, so still a novella but shorter than my novels.
I love your story, I just wonder about the time period you are trying to portray… you said in the story that Lavinia could say no to the match her father had made since “It was England, after all were all had basic human rights” back in the 1800’s the blacks and Native American were slaves and women were fighting for their rights. They had to do what they fathers told them to. It wasn’t until 1918 and 1928 during the Victorian era where women received rights.
Legally they could not force her. But fathers / parents applied every manner of pressure, both familial and monetary to bend a woman's will. That is why Lavinia capitulated and so many others did as well. But the law did not 'require' a woman of age to do what a father wished. Here is a post that touches on it. englishhistoryauthors.blogspot.com/2016/07/making-offer-of-marriage.html
Sorry you are mistaken with your history. The Victorian era ended when Queen Victoria died in 1901. Then her son Edward took us into the Edwardian era. 1918 to 1928 the suffragette movement was in full momentum, these 10yrs were when Edward was on the throne.😊
There is always a difference between laws on paper and what it looks like in practice. To defy your father in the morning could find you a harlot by nightfall.😢

I've determined never to read what feeds ones baser nature.
I'm very grateful to be able to recommend these novels to my grandchildren & young moms.
A well packed short story read by a great narrator.

Delightful! Right from the start. Very tense at the end as you drew us in. Loved his devotion. Excellent choice of narrator.

I can't remember the last time I ironed for more than a few minutes at a time... Yet I sure do enjoy your stories that are also well narrated.😊😊😊😊😊

Lovely story, loved how it turned out.♥
I would love more novellas from you
I have one coming up early in 2024. It will be about twice as long as this one, but still a novella.
Really brilliant, with such an unexpected twist. So many clean romances are too predictable but this was anything but predictable at the end.
Loving your work x
Thank you, Andie.
Another good novel.
