I didn't have children the year I first watched this movie when it came out in theaters, but this was the part that mostly made me cry; the mother protecting her son, Jesus, until the end. God knew what Jesus needed all the time! He provided everything! 🙌

As at dusk, following shadows trailing their long bony fingers darkening the furthest reaches of the souks or floating with the early mists that rise on the morning dunes. The Armenian Duduk pulls every heart string and tears at your very soul with its sorrowful hypnotic beauty; it is surely, the instrument that cries....... An outstanding composition. Do you really think a supreme God would save Jesus, not being anything else but a regular human being, to instead cause the murder of a student of Jesus that wasn't even the target of the Jews and Romans, giving preference to one life over another? That doesn't look like something a supremely good and merciful God would do.
