This is one of my favorite pieces of music of all time. Listening to the recording stoned can make me cry… in a good way tho.
Same. 8.30 in a tv recording of parliament they jam to this, search it on youtube. It's 1969 I believe. Eddie Just goes off
My favorite is the live version from the one nation album
I know EXACTLY what you mean! Peace ✌🏾
This is probably the greatest song that I’ve ever seen live.
52 years ol and have never heard this song. I have no idea how??! Fantastic.
This having ads on it is a detriment to society
Some of the greatest music of all time and the biggest funky existence. Stay funktified always ❤
Here it is another day for me with a song that will make you think of the things are so right to you one love. Maggot brain Henry.
Wow...wow...Never get tired of this song..ever.☮🎶🌞🌴👍💙🎊

Brother is playing my guitar--PRS--double wow.

Classic!!!
One of the best things about this, not one motherfuking cell phone
On my way to work at 6:00am I put on this Song and turn it up loud so it will wake up Everbody!! Waiting on The Mothership to take me to Funky Way. 10:00

Free Your Mind And Your Azz Will Follow
👍 amazing!
Warren Haynes did it with Derek Trucks and Santana about a year ago. 2-3 other bigtime pickers are giving Eddie and Mike the respect they deserve. Trucks played with a slide. Sounded really amazing……Eddie died in 94’anybody know who’s playing with Mike??

Mike Hampton rules
Hazel. Everything after was a copy
@@phs150 Hazel was a copy of Jimi Hendrix then. Mike has his own unique style attention!
lily haydn is missing
Commercials in the middle of the song is cringe....makes me hate the creator of the channel
Blackbyrd always comes way closer to Eddie than Kidd ever did.
Byrd admitted he copied a lot of Eddie's vibes
@@chrisedwards3214didn't know that. It's only right. I heard fucked up eddie do stuff kidd never could. Michael Hampton is amazing. But Eddie was unique.
@@Reezer83yrs Eddie came with most of the pfunk riffs he helped create the funkadelic sound and laid the flu dation on funkadelic guitar playing
Mike, Gary, Byrd, Ricky rouse, Ron bykowski.all used Eddie's vibes at some point
You listen to the drugs album or enemy squad or Byrd, Mike and lige currys albums you hearing a lot of Eddie's influence
Eddie recorded a lot of unreleased tracks I wouldn't doubt of the others didn't incorporate them in pfunk.sings over the past few decades
I heard Byrd did things that sounded like some unreleased stuff Eddie might have did
Eddie's influence carried on to prince , Buckethead, red hot chili peppers, in living colour, and Lenny Kravitz and slash
I am ALWAYS disappointed with the Parliament Funkadelic drummers. They always look and feel like "hired hands". Just there to play drums. Basic drum set, no costume, and no kind of stage presence!!! I would KILL to be their drummer!!!!!
Dennis Chambers?
@@colestonyDennis wasn't at this gig but he was good along with tiki, frank waddy, Tyrone lampkin and big foot brailey those was kickazz drummers Gabe Gonzales can get down too
