What time does sehri start?
So is the fasting the day of Ashura good enough for the reward or do I have to add a day before or a day after Ashura
@@AO-po6tc you should fast another day since The Prophet ﷺ commanded us to do so

That day was today for many and because of not sighting the moon, will be tomorrow for us in Z.A insha Allah. So it is sunnah to fast the day before or after with it to be distinct from others who fast the 10th too.

Subhanallah, it is recommended that we fast either 9-10th or 10-11th of Muharram. Fasting 9-10-11th would be the best insallah. May Allah swt have mercy on us.
Apparently fasting the 11th is hadith daeef.

I forget to fast on Thursday can I fast Friday and Saturday
I always thought if Arafaat was on June 20, 2023, then the year after was from June 21 2023 to June 20 2024 and the year before was from June 21 2022 to June 20 2023.
Why don't you use your platform to educating about the grandson of our Holy Prophet pbuh that was martyrd on the day of Karbala?!
He made lot of vedios if you choose not to see we can't do anything

Do you fast the day of Ashura and then the day after or the day before ashura ?
It is better to fast all three days and if not possible to do so then either the 9th or 11th along with the day of Ashura

I was told I should fast 3 days ? Day before Ashurah, day of and day after?
It is better to fast 3 days i.e. including one day before and one after ashura but if you aren't able to fast 3 days then you should be fasting a minimum of 2 days

@@ali.happy4u299 it should be 9th and 10th day of Muharram or 10th and 11th or all three days so check the date in your country according to the islamic calendar

@@flowerpie6107 yeah 9th and 10th Muharram is fine and no it is necessary to keep 2 days since the Prophet ﷺ told us to keep 2 days fast to distinguish from the Jews
Fasting on the day of ashura is the innovation of ummayah dynasty which some people are endorsing through the fake traditions.
Ummayah dynasty observered it to express happiness and joy over the massacre of Imam Hussain (a.s) and other matyrs on the desert of karbala.
So if you are happy with what was meted out to karbala matyrs by Yazeed ibn Muawiyyah then go ahead with fasting. You will be answerable on the day of judgement.
really, how can you forget that the prophet grandson, chief of the youth of para, was martyred by the ummah on Ashura? its not a celebration day!?
