Is it really not necessary to place some kind of sealant on the outer window portion before setting it in the window cutout? Like putty tape, or silicone sealant or something similar.
Won't it leak during inclement weather w/o sealing it before the install?

I have a 2022 Cherokee Wolf Pup Black Label with 30x22 frame-less Cleer Vision exit windows. My neighbors construction crew broke one of them. I have been quoted $750 for replacement window cost. (not including labor). I had no idea that Cleer Vision is so extremely expensive.
My plan is to NOT remove the frame, but just remove the top window C-rail slide pin and slide the new window out of it's frame and into my (perfectly good) frame. Then re-pin the C-rail to keep the window in.
