@16:51 I am thinking that essence does not transcend time rather an instantaneous property imposed by our minds to an object. It is therefore impractical to attempt a comparison between two "essences " from different instances of time.

What is the difference, if any, between the essence of a thing and its form ?

Given the definition of a human being as logical animal, what happens to the person who loses completely his/ her intellect and logic due to Alzheimer's disease? Is he/ she still a human being or not? I will appreciate your answer Sir. Thank you in advance.

Can a changing thing be reduced to a non-changing thing? According to evolution we are all genes. According to Aristotle are genes essential to viruses or contingent?
Can a non-changing thing be reduced to a changing thing? Can a soul be reduced to a person?
Can being be reduced to doing or doing reduced to being? Can form tell us function or function tell us form? Is knowledge the absence of ignorance or the presence of ignorance?
Does any being have any non-contingent relationship with Nature? What is that essence? Gene or will or soul?
