Farrakkan is a brilliant Speaker. But the family chose who Spoke. His Presence was enough. He just wanted to sit and enjoy the funeral. He always says that he doesn't have to speak. He recognized that it was her church and service. He was there to be a support to the family. He will speak next week at his Mosque. I do wish he would have spoken. He always speaks truth to Power and correction to all when he speaks..

Why does everything have to create division or controversy? Why do people have to shame or put other's down? Is it anyone's business who attended and who did not? Were these Aretha Franklin's wishes or those of her family? That is all that matters. Who likes, doesn't like, agrees with, or disagrees with any of it is irrelevant. It's a celebration of the life of someone who touched many and will no longer dwell among us. Let that be enough to focus on and talk about. God bless, keep, heal, deliver, and save us all. We need it like never before! How about we pray for her family and those who loved her most. How about we pray that we live our best lives and find ourselves pleasing in God's sight, when we depart this life.

And the LOVE for the Minister grew in my heart seeing him there out of LOVE. The last clown to speak was a disgrace and devil.

That guy to the right of Minister Farrakan is a grandmaster in martial arts! He is no joke!
Not good at all that he did not speak, but his attitude was still humble.

Minister Farrakhan is a very charismatic speaker and is very persuasive. Since he was Aretha’s friend and was invited, he should have also spoken. It would have been interesting to hear what he had to say.

I understand that Farrakhan was in attendance. I also understand why he was not allowed to speak. It is too bad, though. I love to hear how kind and loving he is when he speaks to back people. I love that he loves black people. I am not Muslim, but I have always recognized the love.

the Minister didn't have to speak to show his love and support. His presence was majestic and caring. however, I feel far too many people did.

I was really disappointed that they didn't let Minister Farrakhan speak, why,why what harm has he done and he was a friend of Areatha's. This was very cruel.

If he wasn't invited why was he allowed on the alter and he stayed for the entire service. In addition, he greeted and took pictures. Maybe he chose not to speak. I had heard Aretha liked him. Can't imagine him staying where he wasn't welcomed!! obviously family okay with it.
