Amazing! Suggestion for Gary: Make RUclips videos building up old bikes and talking history!! If he could do a video once a week, his channel would blow up!
Great idea! He doesnʻt even have to build them up. He could just pull one out every week and talk about the history behind it! Thanks for watching another one brother! 🤙🏻
So this is the man behind the "museum"! So cool you got to meet him,Kev! And that collection! Holy cow, looks overwhelming! He even has Julie Kintner's bike. She's still racing in the mtb scene. In fact she just had a race and podiumed this past weekend. Great stuff,Kev.
I wasnʻt kidding when I said it was the biggest bike collection I have ever seen. This thing was impressive and Gary is such a nice guy! Loved talking to him and learning about his collection. Next time Iʻm gonna take a ride with him for sure! 🤙🏻
Really cool to see the man behind the museum. Not sure I understand the anger from some people though. Does he have more bikes than room? Yes he does but who the hell are you to judge a man that has given much back to the community. And while I'm at it can we please stop calling older dudes building big bikes "posers". Did you ever stop to think that men and woman of a certain age built BMX? Maybe we can't ride the way we used to but still love our bikes? Its no different than building the car you dreamed of as a kid. Lets just all enjoy our bikes however we see fit.
It’s so cool that Gary welcomed you into his home and shared all that with you. Like everyone else, my first impression is just WOW… it’s amazing, followed by a sense of that place must be overwhelming to walk through. Todd Huber over at the Skateboarding Hall of Fame Museum said that he gets his space incredibly cheap because it’s a non-profit. He might be a good resource for Gary to talk to, if he ever gets serious about displaying the bikes in a warehouse. And kudos to your son for a great job filming you guys too. Another great video 👊👊👊
Thanks man! Appreciate you watching another one and for the comment about my son! He did a great job and I hope he can help me film more videos in the future! Todd just might be the right guy to talk to about helping Gary with a bigger space. Thanks! 🤙🏻

That Patterson is what I raced. Brian Patterson congratulated me at 12 when I won 5 out of 6 races at Houston farm and ranch nationals. I was on a super high from that as a kid. Should have put me on his team… haha
Itʻs his collection and he can store them in any way he wants. He did say that it is overwhelming for him too. Hopefully one day he can get some help to move it into another larger site. Many of the bikes actually had cracked frames so no one could ride them anyway. Gary just loves bikes and he has built an amazing collection. Thanks for the comment and for watching! 🤙🏻

Thanks again for the great video! I loved seeing the early BMX bikes but I would have loved seeing the mid 70's BMX bikes like the Yamaha Moto Bike (my mom bought me one when they first came out), the Kawasaki BMX bike (I remember Dave Clinton used to be sponsored by them), the Suzuki BMX bike, Gary Littlejohn frames, Webco, DG, Jimmy Weinert, FMF (my second bike), R&R (my younger brothers first bike), JMC (my brothers second bike) etc. What an awesome time we had riding. Those are the bikes of my youth. I loved that time! After 30 years of MTBing, I've been cruising in the 208 my gold and black Throne Goon 29er BMX bike and loving it even more! You and Bernie rock!
Yeah, there are so many bikes tucked in there that I really need to go back another time to try and see some of the older bikes in the collection. Seeing all of those bikes and parts really took me back to those same days that you shared, just loving every minute on my bike as a kid. I would get up early in the morning in the summer, hop on my bike and head over to Bernieʻs and weʻd be out riding all over the town all day and only went home when it started to get dark. The freedom our bikes gave us was something that we cherished. I think us older bike guys who loved it as kids still somehow kept riding. I bought a GT MTB right outta college and rode that thing for awhile. I still have it actually and need to restore it. Glad to hear you are rocking the Throne 29er and still loving it! Keep riding! Sucks that such great collection is being kept away from all bmx riders from around the world. These should be ridden and or displayed at bike meets etc.. but GAry mentioned who cares if they’re not complete, he’s not ridding them. Sad to see them just stored away. I’m sure there’s many hardcore bmx riders that would love to buy them and show them off, ride them, share stories etc…But then GAry likes to keep them away. But why? For what ? Greed? it’s a shame…
I think itʻs one of those things where the collection just grew and grew and now itʻs beyond what can nicely fit in that space. Your retirement is definitely secure nice collection
If you build them, they will come =)
It would be pretty awesome to see that collection out in the open in a bigger space. Maybe one day that can happen! Thanks for the comment and for watching! 🤙🏻
Man, release some of those things back out into the wild.....it's kind of sad, respectively.
GAry is GOD
“I love bmx because of the freedom” > charges $25 to post pics on the website…
“I had to harass the sales rep at Phil Wood to sell me that..`it belongs in a museum’” > ends up in a greedy hoarders basement just stacked on top of a bunch of other shit…
Whatever…. Guys got tons of cool shit but he’s a tool. Those bikes deserve better.
People never realize having all that in a house is a bad idea. What happens in case of a fire
Yeah that is definitely a concern for sure. Hopefully he can find a more permanent home as he mentions in the video. Thanks for the comment and for watching! 🤙🏼
Sell them while the markets red hot to people who will ride them again.
He could let go of some of them for sure. Itʻs an amazing collection. Thanks for the comment and for watching! 🤙🏻
bro it is WAY too cluttered in there
He does have a lot of bikes in there! Thanks for watching! 🤙🏻
Total waste, he is not enjoying it either, to walk pass a mini sting and a The sting without any acknowledgement 😮 is not a collection is a hoard.
I think itʻs one of those things where the collection just grew and grew and now itʻs beyond what can nicely fit in that space. It would be awesome if he could get some help where maybe someone could rent him a bigger space at a decent price. Do you know of anyone in the area that could help him? Thanks for watching! 🤙🏻
I'm looking for an old 90s- early 2000s 20" Chrome Gary Fisher Mr Skinner fat frame dirt bmx, cant even find a picture of a fat frame mr skinner on the internet. It looks like the Gary Fisher Cleo Moto with the frame opening between the seat bar & crank. But I'd also take a chrome fat frame cleo moto..
hah..adult money
Would be nice, if organized nicely. Kinda sad
Wow what a waste. The guy hording repops is the red flag!
