    I think it is significant to say, Titan and I did this on a handshake. We never put anything between us in writing until I left. That was my opinion of Titan. I well knew the risks of a new business, especially one as under capitalized as this, but I never doubted Titan's honor or integrity. He earned my respect and trust in him before he had any reason to care what I thought. Thank you, Titan!

    People should also know that helping others, and improving the industry, were an integral part of Titan's dream and vision for his company, even before he had a shop. He was giving his time to help at risk kids in the first weeks we opened, when every minute of his time was critical to the shop. Most of what he did was never seen by most, only those he helped or worked with.

    • @glacius331
      @glacius331 3 года назад +1

      You know, he states your vision was going among other things, and it just proves that even Titan was wrong in this situation, because your vision of helping create something and build something better had never been clearer when you put it all on the line. I believe it's what the kids these days would call real recognizing real. I'm small fry, converting a few machines in the home garage and teaching myself, and what you've helped create here is a blessing to myself and many others. Make sure you give yourself some credit in that each and every day and realize that so many people strive and want to make the world a better place, but you actually played a part in it.

      @@TrustNotta Thank you but Titan was only on his knees to his God. My motives were less selfless than his, I wanted my retirement and I was worried my abilities were diminishing in a shrinking field (manual machining). Titan had already turned his life around with his faith and his strength of character. He had amazing talent, he was the best CNC machinist/programmer I had ever seen, and was doing some remarkable things for others. I took a chance on the business but I had great confidence in Titan. He is the story, I held his coat. If you have followed Titan you may know he also gives thanks and great credit to his amazing wife, Gina. She brings out his best qualities and gives him moral support we all need when tested.

    BRO!… I’m 6:33 in and I’m literally chokin up over a fuckin RUclips video.
    This strikes a cord with me. I had a messed up childhood. Probation since 11yo, jail at 13, adult prison at 17, 12year sentence at 21. I got out at 27 with a chip on my shoulder and a looong wrap sheet so I was limited for job opportunities. Got tired of working shit jobs so I started landscaping with a pickup truck, open trailer and an old scag mower my father let me use. Fast forward 10 years. Slowly but surely I built a successful Tree Removal business with an immaculate reputation, close to 200 reviews on the company FB page and all are 5 star, employees, an amazing woman, we just bought a house, new trucks, toys I don’t need , everything I could ask for in life and all without selling drugs like the scumbag I was when I was a kid. I don’t know you, but I’ve walked some of the same path that you’ve walked. I’m happy for you bro. Hard Work Pays Off!

    Back in 2000 I started a business with $40,000. In my first year I had $1,000,000 in sales. In 2001 the year was shaping up to be a $3,000,000 in sales year, but 9/11 came, I went from 36 customers to 6 customers overnight. I needed $30,000 to rebuild my clientel, hiring sales reps to go knocking on doors. I asked friends, competitors, family, even venture capitalists. No one would lend me the money. I guess no one believed in me. Good story Titan.

    Titan. I’m 37 , an only child , I’ve got $50k from life insurance after my father passed last year after being his sole caretaker for 12 years. I lost my father and stepfather in the matter of 4 months last year. Damn near homeless after dad passed. Pandemic took my job industry. I’m pretty much starting my life over. How do I get into the CNC industry / what direction to take. I’ve got the drive and the determination, but not the destination. Or as I sometimes say. I’ve got the car and the driver , I just don’t know where to go.
