Yes yes yes! Watching this game live I was hoping and was confident coach would pick THIS game for his recap instead of Alireza's tilt. My pre tournament pick Tan Zhongyi absolutely destroying this field. Great game, great analysis, thanks.
Description says round 4 friend. Thanks for the awesome video! Nobody breaks these down better than you.
Thanks for that! Fixed the mistake!
Great stuff. A few linguistic tips, 'cause I know you're interested in this kind of stuff: (1) The French expression meaning "available for capture" has an "e" at the end, meaning that the "s" should be pronounced (something like "preez"). (2) In "Zhongyi", the "Zhong/Jung" part and the "Yi" should be pronounced totally separately (as should the Li and the Ren of the male world champion. "Yi" is pretty much like the English "ee" and in "need". (3) As my Dominican Republic friend taught me a few years ago, Spanish doesn't have the word "problemo"; it's actually "problema". We non-Spanish speakers sometimes irritate Spanish speakers when we say "problemo", even if it's meant as a joke.
appreciate all the insights, thanks!
"See ya, wouldn't wanna be ya" - that Andras coach guy :) great recap!
Cheers mate !
A masterpiece. Your analysis of the ...e4 pawn sac was so instructive, many thanks!
Glad you liked it! Cheers!
Wonderful recap, coach! Pawn sac idea at 11:20 is incredibly instructional for us club players who stubbornly cling to material!
Yea I thought it would prove to be a powerful one!
great video thank you sir!
Amazing Lines and calculations by coach
Yeah good choice. This was definitely the most interesting game of the round.
Colle Zuckertort 😎 I just tried this in a tournament over Easter with great result. One win with the double bishop sac on h7 and g7 and the other with a rook sack on the h-file.
Far from good play from both black and white in the second game but very satisfying when a correct sac (I was not certain) leads to mate a few moves later. It's hard to defend specially if time is low.
If black is prepared the Colle is not to hard to neutralize though. Keep an eye on the bishop on b2. If it gets loose... ⚡🚀
I want to like this video more than once... if Double Exclaim is an option why not double like??
Really well done!
You made the right choice.
Tan Zhongyi reminds me of Mei from overwatch
Andras can you make more videos on books please
Perfect timing!
So glad!
This game essentially transposed into an identical piece placement and pawn structure to the early c5 against the advanced Caro!
Buuu
Prag!
Amazing analysis! Thank you.
Glad you liked it!
What kind or recap is that? Zero games covered from the actual candidates. Nobody cares about the side event.
