That's one of the biggest hurdles to overcome in cycling and motorsports racing. You have to be able to communicate so you can address the issues in order to fix them. The Teams that always dominate, are the riders/racers/mechanics/managers etc... that communicate well with one another.
I enjoy these videos almost as much as the racing itself. It’s a game of chess.. should we..shouldn’t we. If you haven’t already, could you do a setup guide for the average trail rider who isn’t sending it ? Great work folks.
Is it not possible to have something similar to livevalve applied to the DH suspension ? Automatically changing the settings according to the section of the track. It would allow to always have the best settings instead of "good enough" for the all track
That takes out the rider's talent and experience of reading the track and setting up the suspension accordingly. Suspension setup can make or break the race, so that's behind the scenes which we don't see that sets these racers apart. They can tell when the setup changes for good.
@@balliboi1197 some team ride with telemetry to decide what are the best settings. It don't make the pilot less talented in my opinion. Sometime riders feeling can be missleading (you can be slow with a great feeling)
It is awesome to see how even pro are super annoying, super ambiguous: "it's good but it's not but if I move it maybe will get better or not" Jordi must be an expert on eyerolling hahaha he be saying like we maxican say when we're annoyed "nah mames, otra vez tu!?" Lol

Have to say, I’m most impressed by how the Jordie and the mechanics can interpret what the riders describe about how their suspension in running

This alongside Cathrovision is the best World Cup content hands down. So interesting seeing all the behind the scenes & technical stuff. Keep it up!
Great vid. Love all the behind the scenes.

Cool video!
where is the suspension psych couch?
Another great episode guys!! Would be good to hear from the techs about the xc racers set up at events. Is there much puzzling there?
Were happily spoilt by grandfather fox.
USA LycraMan 🤣🤣
Looks like the GT mechanic has a notepad where he can record suspension setup info. Where do you get such a thing?
He could probably do with a notepad with the a banned substances list.

Mint. Cool to see some XC riders. Any setup action for them?
That's gotta be distracting when Rachel comes in half dressed. Poor guy 😂👍🏻

So much TECH, it’s not just all about the bike to be DIALED! Get series.
Wow! someone down voted this video, surely Connor Macleod and Jordi won’t be able to sleep tonight 😜

Suspension set up is so stressful. Imagine if we could all get our suspension Dialed.😌 😇
