    One of the many things I like about Danny Kavadlo is when he gives an interview, he also gets a workout. And so do we..... Happy to say that Danny's book is en route to my house. Super excited that you had him on.

    I met Danny and Al Kavadlo in Sydney, Australia a few years ago on Bondi beach, they were the nicest guys and so approachable, genuinely great people.

    Danny's just got that great motivational voice sounding like Paul Stanley from Kiss saying how you can do anything!

    Thanks Matt and Danny for making this video. This was great. I'll be ordering Danny's book tonight. I look forward to learning more about weighted calisthenics. I have been enjoying it for several years now. I know there is more I can learn.

    Good to see you guys together talking real fitness - I have most of the Kavadlo books and they have changed my thoughts and body over the past year. My goal is to do PCC with them next.

    Great conversation. Totally agree, quality over quantity. After fifty years of working out and still going strong, I very much appreciate seeing younger trainers who get how the middle path is the sustainable one.

    Downloaded the ebook last week from Dragondoor, & do need to pick up a physical copy. Always appreciated the info John DuCane has brought us like Danny, Al, & Pavel. It has done so much to help shape my mentality of fitness. Just heading out to start Day 1 of the int. Program. I wouldn't say I have noticed anything new, just solid instruction, tips & programming. I have been doing calisthenics with my Simple & Sinister kettlebell work as well as other kb training. I am really curious to see how I feel with this programming, as wrll as how not only my strength & conditioning improves, but rather how I feel physically (I just turned 44, have Fibromyalgia, & a lifetine of injuries from working construction & play), & the carryover to my jiu jitsu, & muay thai training. Thanks, Matt & Danny for making this happen.

    Thank you so much for the great message! I always tell trainers that we live in a country where less than 20% of the population exercises regularly, so, if we're fighting over workout types between ourselves, how can we help them? Amazing job to you both!

    • @trevbarlow9719
      @trevbarlow9719 2 года назад

      Less than 20%? Do you mean more than?

    • @wesleyangel777
      @wesleyangel777 2 года назад +1

      @@trevbarlow9719 71.6% is overweight and that includes the obese. There's no way to quantify how many train or not, especially consistently, so we don't know. However, excluding glandular and other medical conditions, most people who train consistently don't obtain a BFP of 25%+ to enter into what is considered overweight, based on US standards.

      I know what you mean Mark, the more we pay attention to the trivial debates in life and fitness, the less we can actually do anything important and make ourselves and the world a better place.

    Nice talk, but somehow I'm more interested in Get Strong than Hybrid Calisthenics.
    (I guess doing acrobatics with other people or swinging my nephew around me is already weightlifting haha.)

    hello! I'm working out for achieving muscle up around 3-4 months coz my exercises i do is making only my back muscle , im worry about imbalance of muscles , can you give me some tip to get muscles with overall body with achieving my goal.....

    • @RedDeltaProject
      @RedDeltaProject  2 года назад +3

      The muscle up requires a lot more than strong pulling for sure. Be sure to be getting a steady diet of those bar dips and leg raises in as well!
