hi...good video as usual...the best point about u is u gv every minute detail about the measurement also for eg the ease part...thats really helpful...i wanted to know if im making it for a XXL size if front crotch is 3 for eg..wat about the back crotch..will it be 6..becoz u hv doubled ur msmt...will wait for the reply...tia..

Just the belt attachment part was not clear...you already stitched the side and crotch seams. But the belt is a strip...how did you close it?
An informative video, but why did you ÷ the hip by 3 to get thr ctotch depth or is it length? Is this a standard way to find crotch depth/length.? How much fabric did you use to make these pants? Thank you for sharing with us.
Hi, I noticed at 1.36 you said the length needs to exclude the belt length (which you said is 1.5"), however, at 6.42 the belt length is stated as 3". Was that an error, or have I missed something?
We cut Belt Onfold, total length 3" (1.5" for front and 1.5" for back) so we need to deduct only 1.5" from the length.... Hope it's clear now.... Feel free to ask
Hi! I have a few questions if you don't mind:
1) Can I make the pattern in paper and then copy it in the fabric?
2) Since you've made that line in the middle of the fabric at the beginning of the tutorial, you didn't have to sew the outer part of the pant, have you?
3)How can I make the legs less big? They're too wide for what I have in mind, but I still want to keep the shape of the culotte.

No. She took the hip measurement and divided it with 3
This is how you do the crotch. For the front you would go out 1.5” at the crotch. For the back, when you place front pant leg on fabric, at the crotch you would go out another 1.5” . Effectively you went out 3” for the BACK CROTCH. Hope this helps.

Hi Kavya, 7" is measurement from waist to hip & it depends on the Person's Height, standard measurement is 7" for average height 5 feet to 5'8" but it's better if you take measurement because it can vary by 0.5" to 1"
