Familiar din ako yong arki naional artist na UST alumni, the late Leandro Locsin. Ang UP meron din national artist na arki, the late Juan Nakpil.
ust's architecture program started 30 years before UP. In fact, UP's college of architecture is one of the relatively younger colleges in the university. It is only natural that they get a head start. Regardless, despite that head start, UP has proven to be at par with UST if not even better, in terms of curriculum, board exam performance, and employability. UP is also more selective in choosing the students given that slots are limited. It's not surprising if it attracts the brightest students.
