If you're replacing the bearings you ALWAYS use sealed bearings not shielded. You never pound on any bearing using any metal hardened metal tools in order to seat your bearing. For grease for those of you asking NLGI #0 - NLGI #1 grease is needed, "check with manufacturer requirements". If the manufacturer doesn't provide information or the #0 and or number #1 grease isn't available in your area or the cost is out of range I do have a couple other options which will not harm your tool and can make the process possible at the same quality and effect, just a little more work is involved.
@@williamster2015 that's what I been using, but it doesn't tend to stick onto the gear - gets flung off. Is it alright to add a bit of gear oil with the moly grease ?
@@melonskum5803 Well yes but they have to work with each other. Moly grease is compatible with some lithium based products but not all. If You were to go the route of getting gear oil with EP Moly I'd probably go with a mineral oil based gear oil, if the gear box doesn't have a gasket it may leak a bit for a little while but it will stop after getting hot a few times. *Side note -------> NEVER use lithium grease with polyurea great. They cancel each other and turn into a non lubricating liquid. On the other hand if you wanted an NLGI 1 grease I can send you a link I believe . (Yes it is a bit more expensive but it's not that expensive) Actually The NLGI 1 grease would be similar possibly even cheaper than buying Standard grease and gear oil together. I have found mixes Which work though. If you have an email of anything like that I can go through my old notes and send you what I figured out when I was discovering how all this worked.
Hey there, my battery grinder for some reason has started to loosen the flange nut right after I turn it on. What has possibly happened? Is it fixable with cleaning and greasing or something else? Thanks!

Hello, thank you very much for this great video, it has been very useful to me, because I had the same problem, and I disassembled the device, and verified that it was wrong with bearings, I liked it a lot
Not all grinders can be serviced like this, the green Bosch grinders has the bottom bearings into the plastic casing, they are cheap to replace. Good to see you repair a tool though, instead of just replacing, so well done!
At my work electricians service them, but i was just curious how they do it,without disassembling myself actual grinder.Perhaps one day i might need to know it .All the best & thanks @@zana3587
Hi - you have good information about (soma angle grinder) yes it is from china but i don't know about quality - but this angle grinder i buy it in 2006 and until now it is worked - maybe just this type are good
Thank you very much teacher for your encouragement - I didn't used any a special product - i use petrol (kerosene) to clean it - you can see (video 14) time 3:15 to 3:40 -
I also fix things on a certain level yet and I'm from a country where these tools costs way more than the salary of the users can handle. So repair is a must. I am amazed the uploader of this video can even acquire new part for this. I mean the exact sizes of the of the bearings and the screw. You would be more than lucky to find the exact part in my country. haha

if you don't have the presser, just put a small wood piece or plastic between the bolt and your smasher...to prevent damaged to the bolt's head...
Thank you for your info

@melonskum5803 if you can't find a lower NLGI grade grease get EP Molybdenum grease

I can't open the head screw it very tied how to open
hitting on the head of the screw using screwdriver

Brother what is the barring number???
It's 6001
Maybe you should spend some money on some basic tools. Using hammer directly onto the new bearing, is a bad deal.
Thank you for your info
Thank you share👍🏻
thank you sir
Bravo daher zana
thank you
good video but dont hit bearings in and remove some grease and clean the whole machine. buy a press or something and torque to specs..
Ryan Sardjoe Missier would a big vise with soft jaws work in place of a press? Or even a C-clamp with a wide solid smooth top over the lead screw?
Sure, just buy a press bc it's that simple.
thank you
Sure fire way to shorten the bearing life by at least 80%, HAMMER IT!
ok
No how lightly he was hitting it and just on both races it would do nothing to it if he slipped and hit just the seal then yes but No
very good job
