    I don't think the ATF director could be any more incompetent. He certainly doesn't have the ability to answer simple questions, so how can he have the ability to run such a large organization? What an absolutely pathetic joke.

    • @rifleattheplayground
      @rifleattheplayground Год назад +1

      The problem with yes or no answers is that the questioner is asking specific questions, not to get at the truth, but to paint the person and their opponents, in one swift move, as people who are just liars and want you dead/ to take your freedoms. If people asked him questions in good faith he would probably give you a straight answer, but when the people who have you there are only playing a power game, it's in your interest to play that same power game from your position. Being in the question seat at this circus doesn't give you many options. Dammed if he answers, dammed if he doesn't, because no one cares about truth.

      What’s ridiculous about the Republicans’ points? That this ATF ruling won’t save lives? That the ATF is not addressing the actual issues and is instead spending their “limited resources” to incriminate law abiding Americans on a ruling they’ve changed their mind on? Is it that the ATF has the data available to show that more guns in the hands of law abiding Americans do in fact reduce violent crime? Or is it that the ATF isn’t addressing the fact that schools are still soft targets and that hardening them with firearms in the hands of dedicated school resource deputies and armed teachers will put a swift end to these tragedies?
      How can the director sit in front of families who have lost lives to killers and peddle fallacies that will only protect their far-left agenda? It’s no secret that gun control legislation has left states vulnerable to mass shootings, we have data to prove it. Yet, we have the director of the ATF before us today who’s platform when running for Attorney General in Ohio included gun control. This gentleman is supposed to be an “expert.” I ask respectfully, an expert of what? Prosecution? An expert of prosecution using his expertise to lead an executive agency in making criminals out of law abiding Americans?

I would’ve loved to be in the room when he was interviewed to see what qualifications were deemed acceptable to hold this position. Outside of it being a possible convenience store, the ATF is completely worthless. No gun law or government agency will ever make anyone any safer and it is a fallacy to believe it will. They actually believe criminals purchase firearms legally lol Plus the majority of the last several mass shooters in the US have obtained the guns themselves legally by following the proper process and background check or obtained them from a friend or their own residence from another family member who is a legal gun owner.
