Nice opening song. The stalls are like a food truck without the truck. Love that there is no trash, no street people beggingThe best shots are of your lovely granddaughter.
have been watching all you videos just recently Todd and Neenee and just found this one on your family visit to Launceston. What lousy timing on my part, ha ha ha . I would have loved to have met you guys and had a meal a drink and a laugh while you were here in Launceston, being a local. After watching your videos, Lao is a must go for me and my Illongo phillipino girl friend. Would love to meet you guys and also Chris Perkins and his family when I finally get there.
Hi Todd and Nene... In the middle ages carrots were actually purple and the Dutch cultivated them to be orange.. Great vlog as always... Regs Andy,Herefordshire, England
Launceston, Tasmania is beautiful in its own way. It reminds us of Markets in the Uk and US. What makes it special is that you're seeing your family and enjoying time with them. You did a Great job with this video. Thank you, Todd, for a lovely time. It's all good😁😁 Jim and Harriet
Oh, so sweet you finally get to meet your grand daughter. And in my neck of the woods too(: Going to Laos in October. Can't wait to travel there. Thanks for the videos.
Very nice little city! Almost has Victorian feel,,or maybe WWI . Vicious cockatiel! Hurling boulders at ya. Mags is a winner! A very mellow kid. Ttyl Todd,,,Marlon
Lol I first thought Todd's driving on the wrong side ...... then I remembered you was in Tassie ..... Looked like some lovely food there at the markets
Priceless vlog Todd an Nee Nee the look on Maggie's face when you guys were tasting the whiskey... visited Tassie in 1990...Devonport..Smithton Stanley...up the Nut on the chair lift... screaming wind... awesome for you to share family time.... Tassie is amazing like a compressed Aussie has desert.. rainforest... they used to grow a lot of veggies... and kiwi dairy farmers moved there in the 80s 90s...
Well Toddy I nearly had a tear in my eye tonight, born and bread in Launceston, wedding pics taken in City park, used to go there for a punch up when we were kids, saw AC/DC live in the Albert Hall in about 1974 or 1975 . Good old memories mate. By the way it’s pronounced “ Lonny “ not Launy :)
Mead is fantastic but have a few pints like a beer and find out why Vikings were mean. Hangover is brutal! As a homebrewer, the first thing I had ready when I set up a kegerator was a mead, ready to go for New Years. Ugh!
Its my homee! :D (im from launceston) hope you enjoyed your stay :) And in regards to the buildings there are some really nice ones, i think they call them "victorian era designs" or something, some of them were built waaay back in the early 1800s.
Tasmania is a very beautiful place. It's more developed than Laos. Laos is a poor, underprivileged, less fortunate country. I wish we can do more to help Laos. 😞
even in the US, those Farmer's Market barely have any farmers. probably 1 in 10 sellers are actually selling produces. those outdoors markets in Europe actually sell produces more than other products.
You have to be joking, too cold! It is certainly easier to get warm than try to cool off when perspiration freely runs from you when in high temperature, high humidity locations, where it's possible to get hot, sweaty and stinky easily.
@@NowinLao Yeh, it's a weird one, I wonder if our pronunciation has changed over the years, and yours is correct? Who knows? Love the footage though, so much greenery and lovely old buildings, thanks!

wow nice town. Reminds me of a modern town version of Montana.

The old buildings are a great feature of Tassie -
Progressive Markets with boutique food businesses and a few vegies 👌👍 - Thank you Todd 😄

If you're taking a holiday in Laos, you should visit Todd at his business restaurant.
@@LaoSoftware Where abouts is that? If I'm in the area I will go for a meal(:

I have missed Tassie so much, was down there every few weeks for work a while back..... how did NeeNee adapt to the cold.....

Very nice.
Quite a culture shock coming after Xaysathan, but really nice in it's own way........even if you do have Autumn upside down to us here in the UK. 😊👍👍
Todd that trailer that sold the sausage roll looks like the trailer you and Neenee liked in Laos to sell food from. Peace.
🤗🙏🏼!
SWEET! I wouldn’t mind hanging out with that cutie.
Have a good one.
😀🙂🙂🙂🙂😊😊😉
Those houses are beautiful I hope they have a no knock down policy,
I think they must mate, cause there's just so many of them down here. Gorgeous homes 👌
Yeah we are pretty strict now with our heritage buildings in Tassie.
There is a female Buddhist temple in Tasmania somewhere maybe you will have some viewers interested.
May have to check that out next time we're down this way 👍
Cheers
Todd fun as always
How does it feel babysitting after all that time in Laos ?
Todd to bad you had no Lao Lao to trade 😂
Love the tune. Who's the artist? 🥰
A tune by Rodriquez that I had never heard before. Great tune!! 👌
Nice and quiet surrounding. Oh yeah Todd, how's the flood in Vientiane? Is it reach ur place/house?
Floods in certain areas after heavy downpours due to poorly maintained drains.. No flooding in Vientiane due to high river.. yet 🤞
What's the temperature been like, and what does Neenee think of it?
Chilly but not too cold.. Neenee loves it. All she did was complain about the heat when we returned to Laos 😆
@@NowinLao Nice that she’s enjoying it. Greetings from Norway. I wonder how you’d both fare in the winter here ⛄️
My home town, hope you liked the monkeys
I could watch them all day 😁👍
The Original colour of carats was purple.
ສະບາຍດີ🙏❤️

This is a very nice place ,been there once, but too cold to live there

รู้สึกว่าภาพสวยขึ้นนะครับใช้กล้องใหม่เหรอ
What up with the tall fence? I thought only Laos people build tall fences 😂👍
When you get a group of people all wearing puffer jackets - flock of puffins
😐
As someone who comes from the West Country, it always sounds odd to hear it pronounced as Lawnseston and not Lawnston, like the original.
Oh oK. Kinda like Gloucester is pronounced Glouster? Yeah.. I've never heard anybody pronounce it Lawnston..
