Why saas has to babysit bahu and beta. ??? Financially and physically both aspect how long inlaws going to support them. Not fair. Shadi karo and go straight to your own territory.

I can relate with all of this my father and taya had conflicts with each other in past and we don't live in joint family system.I am youngest of all my siblings so I never witnessed any of the conflicts but my older sisters did I always loved my taya still do because I didn't live in joint family system and never saw him as troublemaker but my siblings and parents see him as villain as Sahil Bhai tells in video
lot of examples in front of everyone -- Joint family system is not good. Those all who are calling they are beneficiaries that's why they are happy, who sacrificed her life for his husbands sacrifices for this joint family -- ask her or her husband. At the end they realize they accept that they sacrificed their personal family matters. This is real truth. But only beneficiaries are happy.
Yes. It also shows that they do not care or know what their wives want. No connection. Just happy that their brothers are happy. My question: Have you ever asked your kids or wife if they are happy??? If not, ask them. Not just YOUR happiness matters. "I made sacrifices, and I am happy." That's all that they say.

I lived in joint family for 6+ years. It's pure torture every single day. I use to sit on bathroom floor and cry because that was the most peaceful place. Myself and my sisters have vowed to break this cruel system.

Aj ki video dekh k laga aap ne meri life ka naqsha bata diya. My husband is exactly like this.
My husband is also a man child. His mum makes decision for him. I had to pressure him into being a man and father for taking decision on his own where to put his daughter in school.
It's not that my mother in law is very interfering. She is not. It's just that he is unable to take decisions on his own. Ask my mother. That's what he says mostly.
