Livermore Poet Laureate Cynthia J. Patton Reads at the Livermore Public Library

    Poet Laureate, Cynthia J. Patton read and discussed her poetry collection, "Across An Aqueous Moon: Travels in Autism" (Finishing Line Press, 2016).
    Cynthia J. Patton was appointed as the fourth Poet Laureate of Livermore. She follows Kevin Gunn, who served from 2013 to 2017. Patton’s term began on July 1, 2017.
    Patton, a Livermore resident, is an attorney, author, consultant, and autism advocate. She is the founder of the nonprofit organization, Autism A to Z. Her award-winning work has appeared in twelve anthologies, such as the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series, as well as numerous print and online publications. Her story, "Elliott Comes to Play", was recently performed on stage by the Petaluma Readers Theatre. She’s currently completing a memoir on her unexpected and unconventional journey to motherhood, tentatively titled "My Guardian Angel Sings The Blues". Learn more at CynthiaJPatton.com.
