Thanks for the info bro. That aspect of feeding in Germany is someone budegt for the year in Nigeria 😂😂😂😂 I feel the inflation of things has affected the global market leading to a surge in the prices of goods.. Please let's really know how much a student can earn rather than just consuming 🤣😂🤣
Thanks for this informative video. At the end of the video you said we can expect to spend an average of 880 Euros per month as a student, how much can we expect to make also doing a part time job?
Around €1200 if you work 20 hours a week. 20 hours is the maximum you are allowed to work as a student during the lecture period. Of course, it depends on what kind of hourly wage you get. The minimum wage in Germany is €12.41 per hour. At the end of my bachelor's degree, I got €15 an hour. master's students get a bit more (€1-2 more an hour). During the semester break, you can increase your working hours to 40 hours a week if you can “afford” to do so (you may have to work on projects or prepare for the next semester during this time). But also bear in mind that as a student you have to take out your own health insurance. Under the age of 25, the insurance is around €100 a month, but as soon as you are 25 or older, it can more than double.
Also, don't look for "part time jobs". There are special jobs labeled as "Werkstudent". These jobs are specially made for students, because they are tailored to be "doable" beside your studies. Also, these jobs are not as highly taxed as normal "part time jobs".
Thanks for the info bro.
