Man I'm curious what your temps were! I totally thought that combo was too small for the 1/8th scale trucks but it actually seems really good in there! You flipped on your lid like it was nothing.
The max8 is meant for 8th scale, as the max 10, the max 6 and the max 5. From what my hobbywing supplier told me 13lbs and under. It's perfect for the kraton, mojave, fireteam and about any other 8th scale their is.
How would you say the speed compares to stock this thing looks pretty stout love my fire team
It's a little faster but probably just because I'm using a 17t pinion.

I half expected to see you swap out guns for scale phallic devices. The alphabet agencies might be banning the Fireteam body next!
Do you feel like you don't need/want an 8s system now that you have this g2 set up?
Hell yeah, I never wanted an 8s system for it. It's perfect on 6s. Some people just have to put 8s on everything. It's super fun how it is.
