Wow, what a fantastic lot you got there. I'm so jealous lol. I could spend ages looking at them. I can't believe the condition of some of them. Looking forward to more of these videos LAFTA.
It’s over 200 years old mate it’s only getting older slab that cartwheel I say unbelievable old coiny goodness congrats thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏻👊🏻
I collect English pennies, half pennies and farthings from 1797 my advice is change from coin envelopes to capsules because bronze and copper will tarnish due to touching the 'plastic' circle covers. i have all 4 types of 1831 penny and 1827,1837, 1869 pennies ! bidding for 1843 and 1849 pennies, nice cartwheel twopence you have there, check your 1862 half pence for a letter below the lighthouse to the left, very valuable if you have one, coins of England and the bronze coinage of Great Britain are exellent books, great hobby. i may post my collection on youtube on day.
Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful video. There are some real great gems there. Too many favourites to mention. I am looking forward to seeing the next video on this collection. Cheers LAFTA
William 1111 coins are notoriously weak strikes for some reason but what an interesting and lovely collection a good investment if you ask me well done LAFTA.
Blown away mate, the Edward and tudor coins are epic ....and Isaac Newton was he warden / master of the mint when some of this collection was struck mental mate Cracking video 👏👏👍
Absolutely brilliant collection! Wonderful to see, and am looking forward to the next video. It's lovely that the collection of gentleman who clearly enjoyed his coins, has now gone to another who really appreciates them.
@LAFTA I store my cartwheel tuppence in the large half of a 2oz Queens Beasts coin capsule taped together with the large half of a standard 2oz capsule. great as long as you tape around the seal neatly.
Not just wow, but WOW, what a great collection to have some early stuff their ones I don't have anyway maybe one day. LAFTA you have blown me away with these fantastic coins. You can't put into words for these coins they are just. Imagine the history one coin must hold pity coins can't talk imagine the great stories they would tell. I can't wait for the coming video's
Oh wow LAFTA what an absolutely amazing collection of coins to own 😍. You are one lucky person . I struggled to find a favourite out of those they are all so amazing . That hammered Elizabeth I coin though wow 😯, how special is that . Can't wait for the next part. Enjoyed every second of this 😊.
Epic indeed. I have a few old english coins but the oldest is elizabeth I sixpence... imagine some of those coins are crazy crazy old, just crazy. That must have cost a fortune, enjoy it! Just an idea, maybe show your favorite coin off of each monarch in order, give a small english history lesson and show case a cool coin from each monarch.
What an amazing collection fantastic assortment of coins and monarchs. Looking forward to part 2 and can't wait for you to film and show your date run albums.
Well i waited so long for this. Now i feel let down! 🤣🤣 Only cos you have some better coins than my dads collection. Well done on getting your hands on these luv. FABULOUS
One of the best videos I've seen! Massive Predecimal fan! Some of them (all of them really) are stunning! Looking forward to the next part! Coin Patrol, MackemMoolah & yourself are doing some great Predecimal stuff lately! Nice to see Predecimal's mixed in with the 50p & £2 vids! Brilliant 👍👍👍
Incredible! The condition of some of those old coins is amazing given their age, love all the portraits with all the old kings with their flowing curly locks! Also didn’t know Mary and William were on the coin together that’s cool. Really enjoyed this looking forward to the next
Absolutely mind-blowing collection ❤. Very difficult to seek out a favourite as so many earlier coins I've not seen displayed before 😂. Congratulations on your find, and good luck with your research on those you referred to in your video 😅
Wow! I've been waiting 2 days to watch this video and it didn't disappointing. What an amazing range of beautiful coins. The cartwheel two pence was just incredible. Thank you for sharing them with us. Keep on smashing it buddy! 😊💙
The pictures you put on IG had me intrigued. Blown away by the ages of these coins! Never seen a cartwheel twopence, it looks huge. Need reinforced trousers for those 😂 Think it has been a pre-decimal week 😁
I have everything you have there i have full date runs of all the coinage from 1700...I also have the the older stuff, If i could take a pick it would be the William and Mary coins you have there....
What a haul , would love to get a chance to purchase someone's collection like that , the hammered is definitely my favourite of the bunch as I'm reading up on them at the moment , though it's mainly Irish hammered coins but it makes fascinating reading historically when you put into context the role coinage played during those times I have to say. Lucky you !!
Wow what a collection you definitely fell on your feet with that one looking like your going to keep more than you sell 🤣 lovely video looking forward to the next one
Some in fantastic condition considering the age of them! I have a Cartwheel Penny but sadly you can’t make out much of the detail. What an amazing addition to your collection. Great stuff LAFTA 👍🏻
Those were the days, when you could have a good time with a Groat in your pocket 😁 Some nice Bunhead coins. Old enough to remember £sd but the silver coins were no longer silver and a thrup-p'nny bit would get you a nice bag of sweets
Amazing collection of coins there LAFTA. I just hope you have a bit more change left over after purchasing them to pay for your increased house insurance. 👍👍
@@LAFTA Saw a couple of hammered which were OK but most were scrap silver. if buying copper need to look for pre 1850, UNC and brilliant red in colour......
I have to say I'm disappointed, my son had kilos of these very worn coins, and was pleased to sell them for their melt value. Consequently, I've been very particulat as to what I wanted to include.
What a fantastic range of amazing coins! Such a lovely spread of different monarchs too! I love the hockey puck too! 👍
Christopher!
Epic...... what a brilliant collection, I keep my cartwheels in a Westminster display box at the moment.

Amazing Lafta! That hockey puck is easily my 🤩 Lucky pucker
Hi Lafta, has to be that monster coin. Image having a purse full of them to wallop a would-be robber lol. But a lovely big coin. keep em coming.
I have a 1799 1/2d, 1797 1d and 1797 2d. I keep them in individual capsules in a ziploc bag. My 2d only has one small dent and is valued about 300 GBP

On amazon Hartberger coin flips do loads of coin flip sizes they go up to 53 mm in size don't know if that will fit the large coin.
Amazing collection of coins there LAFTA. I just hope you have a bit more change left over after purchasing them to pay for your increased house insurance. 👍👍
Sick collection
My favourite cartwheel penny
amazing coins
Hi, any idea where I can sell my late fathers coin albums. Thanks
EBay is probably your best bet tbh
I'm filled with envy😭
Amazing
Budget collection of worn and common coins. Buy selectively.
Not sure about that, there's some lovely pieces. This is only part one of the series as well...
@@LAFTA Saw a couple of hammered which were OK but most were scrap silver. if buying copper need to look for pre 1850, UNC and brilliant red in colour......

I have lot of England coins same as yours..I like to give them to your collection.if you want let me know 👍
Hope the pages are PVC free? Unfortunately seen to much damage to coin over the years.
👍👍👍👍👍

Put that 1797 2 pence hockey put coin in a dollar coin book
All in crappy condition unfortunately
Harsh assessment!
Amazing old silver. so you show a 1797 cartwheel penny. Silver content Zero.
Plenty of other silver in the video. Bore off
