She kept rejecting him because she had a boyfriend at the time. He didn’t take that so well and every interview he did after that where they mentioned little mix, he would bad mouth the girls all because he can’t take rejection. I think he did something similar with Selena Gomez too. Yes his music is ok, but nothing should ever make one’s ego that inflated, especially bc he’s not all that great looking either.

I think it's important to also point out that artists don't like advertising on tiktok not just because it's cringe and they don't like the association, but because it's a new paradigm of marketing that a lot of artists hate. Professionals in a whole bunch of artistic fields have been saying for years now that with tiktok and Twitter, you're expected to be your own entire marketing team, you're expected and required to have a skillset of Appealing To The Algorithm and a lot of artists don't want to do the dances (metaphorically) that you have to in order to get success on tiktok. That doesn't apply as much to artists like Halsey who are already famous, but even for established artists I can really understand not wanting to use tiktok as an advertising platform: they wrote a whole song and tiktok doesn't reward that as much as it does clippable 10-30 second sections of songs.

Part of it is probably overexposure, it's easy to get tired of artists and songs if they are played and promoted everywhere or always on your fyp, especially if they follow the same formula for most of their work. Honestly, I’m one person, but I like it better if he stays the same.
