Lila is a criminally underrated character and I will fight y’all on that. And, no, I’m NOT saying she’s a good person nor will I go defending her awful actions. What I’m saying is she has a lot of interesting depth to her and could’ve given the show some seriously cool extra plot and intriguing dynamics. The reason why I ship Lilanette is because that pairing specifically gives Lila an opportunity for a brilliant redemption arc.
It’s okay if you don’t ship it, it’s okay if you don’t like Lila, it’s okay if you don’t even like the show, but please don’t attack others for it. It’s still just a cartoon that people enjoy, myself included.
