if anyone is still doing this and has problems with using the grapple: try it, if it doesnt work with the first two guys, restart the mission, do that a couple of times. also when restarting, change difficulties, or restart the game completely, maybe turn ps4 on and off, etc. Eventually it‘ll work. And: if you get caught, it only erases the kills from the last checkpint to your detection. so just keep killing with the grapple. you dont have to start over.
For anyone still struggling to get this, here is the big secret rule: Don't get CAUGHT. You can't restart from your last checkpoint, but if you trip a car alarm or alert a guard or 2 it'a fine as long as you don't get caught and trip the alarm. A drone and a guard almost caught me even though I got their attention really high but since I evaded them quick enough I still got it.

I've now killed over 40 enemies with the grapple hook and my trophy hasn't popped. deleted the game, reinstalled, kept retrying the mission and nothing works. Does anyone know how to fix this? I would love to get the platinum trophy!
I got the trophy after completing 20 kills w/o restarting. You can't grapple 10 restart then grapple 10 again. You have to complete the mission with all 20. That being said, I got the trophy but it doesn't show that I got it on my profile. I have abandoned the quest for platinum

Finished the game and came back to replay this mission to get Intel and this trophy. I get to the part where you whistle for the guard but my grappling hook won't show up to stealth kill him. I can only use it to reach rooftops...........wtf. I have restarted the mission and the same thing happens everytime. It worked on my 1st playthrough but now it doesn't. Also the game crashed 3-4 times lastnight too.............I'm on PS4 if anyone can help.

Just try killing someone go back to last chepoint and do it again and again i did that bcs the kills still count for the achievement and i got it same with the over drive i did it and retarted to last checkpoint
Be careful! If you get spotted during this mission, you will have to redo the whole level and kill the 10 enemies in a row all over again. I got spotted on my 6th kill. Bullshit.

I had trouble getting grapple icon to pop when I back went to select mission after I beat the game (easy). Started a new game on Veteran (trophy) and it popped up when I got to that mission.

I was able to complete the trophy today on PS4 using this video as a guide and restarting from the last checkpoint multiple times.

I tried to do it like you but I did it my own way. By the time I got the achievement, I tried to continue being stealthy but I tripped the alarm

I was having the same issue. I fixed it by simply unplugging my xbox one. Then when i plugged it back in and tried again it worked.
