Grey College media need to be more proactive. Like me ex student from this great school we want to see more media related to the school. I live in Portugal now. I left in 1986 while in standard 7 and just have great memories from my academic and sports activities, I wonder if my records still stand in athletics high jump in Carlos Goncalves...
Well I spent a year there... and it was a racist, sadistic outfit... the teacher Lappies Labuschagne delighted in beating students with the back of a floor brush. One Bible teacher openly preached simple-minded racism... some teachers were good. But it's a vicious place. Let it be said, I am referring the year of 1971....
Here you go, there are no benefits. Culture, belief and camaraderie . If you are gonna play first team rugby and want a stepping stone(the other kids) for your career go for it. Nothing this school offered me was meant to expand my mind or prepare me for the real world, FFS they down graded kids to standard grade math so the school pass average would be higher rather than actually teach. I don't believe anything had changed since I went there a good number of years to go. If you wanna be a walking brand for a school quoting the guy who was oh so pissed that the kids top shirt button was loose. THEY ARE FUCKING KIDS, THIS IS NOT THE MILITARY, Viva la GFUS.
