I WATCHED A VIDEO by this trader. He waited for a breakout from a narrow channel, the longer the better of course. Such patterns often produce what is called thrust bars or elephant bars. These bars have around an 82 percent of producing follow through bars. If the thrust bar breaks from a congestion pattern, the prob. rises to 92 percent. Well, this guy will buy an option as the thrust bar is about to close. Well of course you are going from low vollatility to high volatility, thereby greatly increasing the value of the option.. He claimed he could scan stocks, forex, futures and find these congestion patterns. But is there such a program? I know of at least 25 set ups, all with at least a 60 percent success rate, up to 94 percent. However, knowing them and being able to readily locate one before the breakout is very difficult. I prefer narrow range channels. Is there such a scanner?
Do you teach HOW to trade with options?
He has a 1 on 1 mentorship he offers every 4 months where he teaches you how to swing trade options like a pro, but he does also have a short options course you can buy that tells you how option contracts work.
You can also just look up videos on how they work but they are a bit complicated.

@@TopDogTrading I haven't even opened a brokerage account there's so many different ones out there it's a really confusing process. So much people online telling you to go in this direction that direction.

Aren't you still limited to only 3 opton trades a week by the SEC? Isn't it the pattern day trader rule?
Excellent question. Contact your broker for specific details. Ask them if you can do more than 3 option day trades per week in a CASH account (not a margin account).
That is three "day trades." It also depends if you have $25,000 in your account.
@@TopDogTrading in TOS I day trade long options in a CASH account with no issues..(no spreads).. margin account up to 3 but can do spreads...
