THAT'S SO WEIRD how little view this has... this is one of those truly authentic sounding, obscure, rare 80's songs you run across... this is a hidden gem.
The thing is that the Music was sort of written first and Phil put the vocals to the music. Which is normally not the way it is done. Phil just seemed to be able to come up with a great vocal over everything.
Glenn Williams did the Keys on most of the Album. He is an Amazing player and I still play with him now. I did the Guitar Solos. We only ever did one Gig and it was Filmed, but I have never seen it.
@@michaelwilson7924 It started off as one track. Which was "can't hold on" written by a guy called Jools. Simon Harrison needed a vocalist to sing it and Phil came to do it. It sounded so good that Simon and Phil wrote the rest of the songs. Simon had some Guitar ideas he had and recorded them and Phil would go away with it and come back with the melody and the vocal as far as I know. Took about a year to make the album. I was just a Guitar player bought in to play the Guitar Solo's and bits that Simon wanted me to play on the tracks. We rehearsed for 6 months and did one gig and Then Phil, Simon and Paul (the sound engineer and Bass ) just disappeared. The Band was originally called PAF (after the pickups I still have the single ) and so it was about ten years later I found out they had changed the name of the Band to Atlantic.
@@AndyEvansHill This album was released in about 94 from memory, I bought it in the UK when some of us Aussie SASR Guys were in the UK to train with the British Lads at Hereford. I remember bein staggered reading that the whole band was British. I just assumed you were an American outfit, I love the lush West Coast AOR sound you had

The keys on this album are amazing. Such a mystic sounding song, although that can be said about the whole album.
