I gave up planning in planners last year. Due to ADD it was very restrictive. I am a bullet journal girl now but I still like watching all the pretty planner videos. I miss buying them! BTW the main thing I wanted to say is that I found you recently and have been watching your videos as ASMR as well. Your voice and the way you talk is very soothing to me. I love your detailed reviews as well!

Really great review as always! Simplified is a planner I want to love more than I do in reality. I kept trying to make it work because I like Emily Ley and her business model. The covers are beautiful, the layouts do work for the most part but the binding, hard covers, and split weekends is where I tell myself not to cave anymore.
Always fun to watch even though I'm not new to the brand. I did pick up a monthly planner. No idea what I'm going to do with it LOL! And of course I got more mini notebooks and page markers. I also go the "old" Happy Stripe pen. Good to know they can be mailed in a card and don't require extra postage. I'm always tempted to get Dapperdesk. The Kelly Green Bee is so pretty!

@@AmandasFavorites I use the happy stripe for my stickers and paper to decorate. I use the blue trellis to hold all my washi tape. I use the happy floral and navy hydrangea as a clutch which holds my planner perfect TN and whatever I need on the go. I just sold my pink pinstripe to a gal who truly missed out on buying that print. I also have the pencil cases. The lemon one for pens and white-out in my kitchen drawer. Old happy stripe for Sugar and Ivy clips. Fuschia for pens, white-out and charger cord on my bed stand. Thanks for asking.
I do not really like the horizontal layout on the weekly but I love the book binding, the portability and it feels so good in hand that I think I will buy one in 2022 too! Thanks for your video!
Thank you so such a detailed review. I really appreciate it and the time stamp breakdown. I am getting a weekly simplified planner. I've used one before for my college school work. I use it to see what's due each day. Sometimes I have a lot due on a Sunday so I just write it on Saturday.
I currently am using the Dapperdesk and I love it except for one thing - the print for the times is too small and too faint. I can only read it with my reading glasses. They need a version for old people! But I agree, it's a beautiful book. I just love holding it and looking at it. Also, my binding has never creased.
I am happy to hear your old DD hasn't creased...I never noticed this in any of my previous ones either. And I completely understand on the print! I just had to start using readers this last year.

Well I always love Erin Condren's softbound weekly planners. Her 2022 planners aren't out yet...they usually come out in the fall because they are calendar year only;) In the past they have been in 2 sizes and horizontal, vertical, or hourly. But there are many other great weekly bound planners I have reviewed here are a few: Ashley Shelly, Simplified, unbound, ink & volt, Momagenda (My Agenda), Tid bits, Day Designer (makes a bound weekly), ponderlily, and hemlock and oak:) You can find them all under my "weekly planners" playlist or type the specific name into my channel search bar and it will come up:)

My goodness I want the weekly planner so bad. I recently bought two mini notebooks and they are so cute but did not satisfied my love for the weekly. And now I want the pouches too. Well... goodbye savings. I must succumb to it. This was a great video and the push I needed. I've had some bad months and I must be rewarded. Totally not an excuse. 😉

I have never used a planner/journal/etc. that uses a ribbon to keep track of where I am. But I would rather have a couple to use rather than just one. Unless I used sticker tabs in it, I would like to be able to keep track of more than one location in it. Like one for the day I am on, and another on the notes/etc. pages. Sticker tabs could work, but they could be torn or fall out possibly.
Just received my daily today. I noticed a lot of ghosting, kind of bummed out about it! I know you had mentioned in a previous year's daily that you had a crazy amount of ghosting as well ☹️
I did have that happen, but it was several years ago...normally there is a little but just like you can see in this video with 70# paper. I hope you can still enjoy it.

I ordered the blush pink dapper desk and Im so exited to start using in August! going to be my first time using it! What pens to you recommend using with the dapperdesk planner?
Oh, it's a beauty and feels so good in hand;) I haven't used the DD for any long period, but I did use Simplified Daily for 4 years... and honestly all my favorite pens worked well on her paper. My faves are Pentel Energel .5, Uniball- signo .38 or .5 (i think you will find that any pens work well on her paper;)

I have seen the at a glance...I haven't bought any because I buy these items to review with my Simplified Referral points;) But I think they are a great option! thanks for sharing how you use yours.
As you said, that big waste of space at the top of the pages would annoy me. Rather lose it to get more room to write in. Or at least only have a big border at the top on one page only. Not all of them.

The weekly is so small and portable! Do you use your pouches for your planner? Or are they to use for anything and everything like mine?

Lot's of people have asked them for a vertical weekly...but they have not done that yet.

The paper is a tad bit different color (but I feel like most ppl wouldn't even notice). But if that bothers you then I wouldn't get it;)

They won't restock the academic year Dapper Desk Blush...but they will have it again for Calendar year when they launch that in September:)

You mean is the actual coil part the same? The coil part seems the same to me....
