I was on the phone with Geek Squad for 1 1/2 hrs today with them remoting into my laptop with no resolution. I'd started the process of returning my laptop because I just couldn't stand the warm tone (yuck). I was able to get a nice cool, bright, tone, on my display~ So you saved me a lot of time and effort. I can keep my Hp Envy 360 and enjoy it & not have to shop again! Thanks a million!!
Excellent video. More important than 20 min warm up is to do it in a dark room. There should be no external light sources shining on the monitor. 20 min warm up was required for CRT monitors. The modern LCD panels have no or marginal colour shift. If there is any, it can be only detected using professional calibration sensor.
hopefully this helps someone !! go to your windows search bar & type "intel", something saying intel graphics command center should pop up. press enter & wait for it to load. click the little icon on the left that looks like a monitor. go to where it says Color, you can edit the brightness, contrast, hue, & saturation of the screen there. i'm not a pro or anything so don't ask me any questions bc i have no clue about anything xoxo just thought this might be useful to someone !!! 💘💘
I've used Mac for a long time and getting back to PC. I've got my PC on the left and my Mac on the right using flow to use both at the same time with the same desktop picture. They're really close to the same now! Thanks!

@@MohammedAhmed-dn1uz then search for “Intel graphics settings”, or just intel graphics. If that doesnt work than it means its not downloaded or updated, which if is not ( it should be automatically downloaded anyways), I’ll tell you how to download it.

Thank you so damn much! My brother broke my monitor, so we replaced it with a new one. But the gamma was too low and on my games i almost couldnt see anything. But with this i made my gamma high and now its better! Ty once again

I want to adjust my brightness above the "maximum" but when I use the colour calibration and get to the brightness part, I don't know how to make it any brighter. I've been using the f5 and f6 keys to make it darker/brighter but it won't go any higher than "good brightness". Is there a way I can make it brighter?

on my laptop i right clicked on my desktop screen thing and went to "graphics properties..." , it opens "intel hd graphics control" , go to "display" , then "color settings", and in the "color enhancement" section you can adjust the brightness and contrast, and in the "advanced" option you can adjust saturation which helped out my screen too

I had forgotten this feature. My problem is not with my computer. It's with RUclips being in an all dark black ground and white letters. I have tried everything and I can't get it back to what it was before I let Dell run a program. It was worse so I did a system restore and that fixed just about everything but RUclips, Frustrated!

I had a different issue. My laptop was on nightlight mode. Just go to display settings and unchecked the tick.( If anyone else is having the same issue)
I get an error message that says -❌ Display Color Calibration can't save the new calibration. Close other programs that are open, and then try again. ACCESS DENIED- I got all my apps closed including the ones in the hidden items.

I dont see any buttons on the laptop to adjust the contrast. This is just saying "click next" over and over but what are the buttons for the sliders?

Yes they do. When they say the menu button in front of your display, they meant the buttons on your monitor.
