As a person with shoulder problems being able to put the electronics in a rolling bag is excellent. But the reduction in depth is likely a dealbreaker. LOVE YOUR REVIEWS!
I carry a backpack as cabin bag everytime I travel. I am looking to ditch that backpack and get a wheeled carry instead. My thoughts was getting a pro luggage as the nature of my job as a seafarer, I have to carry a lot of documents (medicals and seafarer certificates, letter of employment, immigration documents, etc.) with me whenever I transit in a country to my ship. It is just very convenient to have an easy access pocket to pull out my documents. As I transit in various countries to or from the ship, in various airlines, a universal size is preferable. I took note of the fact that you don’t favor pro luggages and I am a little bit swayed by the reasonings you laid out. It’s a deal breaker that most of these pro luggages with the correct external size are seemingly incapable of carrying at least a pair of shoes.
I guess i don't get the allure of a pro bag. I assume you're going to have a personal item, and i would prefer to keep electronics in that. It saves hassle if they want to check the carry-on at the gate, and the lost space for clothing seems like a bad trade to me. But the button is fun!
I began the return on my Away carryon today due to disappointing zipper and wheel performance (still barely under the old 100 day no-question return policy). Can you suggest a best replacement? Strictly extensive intl travel, super lightweight, great quality to last (Ala Monos), prefer a good compression system (but seems the LW’s don’t have great ones)and price not an issue. Zipper and wheels are the biggest factor (though do love latches but too much weight). Thank you! I enjoy all you content…
I don't like the inside x-strap and the charging port. I like to just use a portable charger I put in my personal item. It's too bad they don't incorporate compression straps or boards. It's a pretty heavy bag too. It seems really well made, though and I did like the two-toned bags you showed a few weeks ago. I'd definitely get one of their other bags if they were to go on sale during the holidays and I needed a new one!
Out of all of my travels for the past 8 years, I’ve only been weighed a few times. There are lighter bags out there, though if you’re worried. Some around 4 pounds
Tell me your thoughts about this bag below!

I feel the same to be honest. But some are obsessed still.
Agreed!

The lightest carry ons are July lite (no compression, just covered) and they Heys airlite (no compression, x strap) and they are both durable!

I’m 100% a portable charger person, in my personal item!
This is so cool I love your videos makes me feel like I’m going on vacation with you
I’m looking for international bags this looks great. Question seems kind of heavy at 9.6. Means you only have 8 lbs you can pack? Thoughts?

A very elegant bag for an elegant lady
The luggage is way too heavy, especially for international travel. A lot of international airlines take lugguage weight seriously.
