Thank you so much for the reaction and for following up on the boys!🥹 I was so freaking impressed by this comeback, and this song is everything!! It’s noise, but it’s melodic and the bridge/outro is just *chefs kiss*. I’m so happy they did something a little different from the debut while following a similar theme and color palette for the MV.
The song title is a rude and informal way of saying “get away”, best translated to the English title “fxx off”. That is also what the song is about. They are telling everyone who looks down on them or tried to tell them how to do things to “fxx off”, because they can handle this on their own. Tag’s lyricism is as always amazing and unique. An example is the first pre-chorus where the spoken word part is Tag going “hey, I’ll only say this once” and then the drop hits and the lyrics continue with the title, “fxx off”. Small things like that makes the song so good!!
I would love a reaction to the two other tracks on this single album. DEJAVU and PERIOD are also so so amazing with their deep, personal lyrics, but upbeat and comforting instrumentals. Jongwoo also filmed, edited and directed their self-made MV for PERIOD ☺️

Someone in the comments did mention about the cultural appropriation thing so i will not repeat it but yeah because of this accusation they delayed their MV release, they couldn't redo the scenes because the company might not have the funds to make the sets and do all those things again so it's understandable but at the same time i rly wished this didn't happen coz now it's making an even bigger fuss coz people will take the blurring otherwise and might be even more offended. Apart from that i think the MV is very well made and the song is just chef's kiss. Thanks again for the reaction, if you see this, have a nice day:)

i love your interpretation of the last message, since yedam received the call in the beginning and he has a plastic on his head implying suffocation, tied by some rules, pressure and at the end he is already free, its a new day, symbolized by the sun rising and the message saying he should get back (like u said, referring to the old things, being held back) and yedam replied with fxx off means there's no way he will go back to that. he is free and will continue to live his life that way.

I picked up an English line in the lyrics says “my life is like a movie”, which I can see it ties back to the cuts where Tag is destroying the tapes representing his past life, just really wish we have the official caption already.
On my first listen I swear I didn't know what to do with myself, it never goes where you think it's going to go.
It sucks that there aren't subtitles for the MV's right away, because Tag's lyrics are always so meaningful. Yes, you can go find fan subs but Armada should really be doing it first to control the translation.

I'm not sure if you know but a member of One Pact, Jay Chang debuted as B.D.U recently with "Wishpool" mini album and the title song "My One" since he won Build Up: Vocal survival show from Mnet. The other members are Seunghun from CIX, Bitseon from M.O.N.T and Kim Minseo (this is his first debut). It'd be great if you check their music out too🍀. It'd be interesting to hear your thoughts since B.D.U concept is quite different from this one.
Yes he said "Life is a deja vu but i still do" and your interpretation was right, you need to check their bsides, there is a song called Dejavu, and it has some hard hitting lyrics, you need to check it out!!! Thanks for reacting

They had to blur the braids cause when the teaser was released some people accused them of cultural appropriation.
This guys have 3 other pre-debut mvs i don't know if you've seen them but they are pretty good. "G.O.A.T" "RUSH IN 2 U" and "멋진 거" the music videos are more dance-focused, but the songs are amazing and 'Rush in 2 u' was directed by JongWoo.

B.D.U was formed from the Mnet survival show Build Up and they just debuted with their 1st mini album Wishpool on June 26th. Their Title Track “My One” is really good and I highly recommend checking it out.
