Love this format. Think that's how I'll take in worlds. I do like you mentioning a play coming up and who to watch, but prefer to not hear the outcome of the fight before it plays out if poss. Cheers, great content.
Its crazy to see SO MUCH AGGRESSION, ESPECIALLY so many low level dives. Worlds is usually super chill except for some very specific objective fights and dives and such, but the first just 5 minutes of this video already so many fights. There were 2 dives lv's 2-4 even. Absolutely loved it, such a slugfest, and a surprising change of pace from the norm (in a fun way!)

The fact that K'sante, Smolder champion designer got fired but they still exist in the game, something needs to be done.
I think that’s more blame of riot than the dev if this big of a company relies on one person to design a champion instead of a team
Yeah Riot/Tencent are braindead and want your skin money, but they can't assign more than 1-2 people to balance a champ against 160 other champs in the game and all 640+ of their abilities and how they may interact with the champ you're making, and all 160+ passives. Not to mention interactions with items and map entities.
If I was assigned that job I could only do better if given 2+ months of no updates to catch everything up. You can't expect a solo dude or even duo to do all that work. Riot proving they are supreme trash and throw pennies at problems that multiply into the dollars of skins.

its a "counter" to k'sante and good for isolating tank junglers/supports.

People call zeka and Pyosik bad. The problem is when they peak the peak so dam high. Most teams would take a consistent player over a coin flip player.
They seem to just have smaller champion pools. Zeka and Pyosik pop off when they get to play their 4-5 best champions while they are meta, and are just average on anything else.

@@samwisehuluberlu2210 Zeka over the last few years has performed best on Sylas, Akali, Yone, Corki, Lucian, and Smolder. He has done poorly at champions like Galio, Zoe, Oriana, Twisted Fate, and Leblanc. It's pretty clear that he likes aggressive lane bullies and struggles on the more utility focused champions.
@@coolbrotherf127 Lucian? He's decent. Not great. He never played it until this weirdo ADcarry mid-meta. His Galio dumpstered GenG at Worlds 2022 and send DRX right to San Francisco. You maybe forgot Ahri, his best champ out of Akali herself. Swain. Spring split he learnt to manage Taliyah. LB? Did you watched some of his early years on LPL? He was thrilling on it. Ori? Just demolished Scout OTP Azir on lane at Worlds 2022, besides Ori being out of meta and 0 damages to deal on the might of Shurima emperor. He flashed out Azir emperor's divide like champ where Deft and Pyosik collapsed, bringing EDG win. It was draft diff game 1 but Zeka's Ori appeared to be solid. He bullied litteraly Scout Azir. It's one example of course, because we haven't so much under eyes to compare. Zeka sticks to the meta because i really believe he's the guy who'll do whatever is needed by his coaching staff. Not kind of guy who wants all the spotlights playing only his OTP or his team focused around him. That's pretty good behavior to learn expanse your macro sense and keep improving your champool.
@@coolbrotherf127 he's playmaker. If he sits and casually farms until late like Chovy robot scaler, being not useful, he will ghost himself. He need playmaking champs. Not only dive melee ones.
I love the snippets of Sally's stream. Imo, watching from his POV is the best way to watch LoL esports. He's so passionate about what's happening and is incredibly knowledgable about the draft and the game state.

Just wtf Peyz doing 26:26? He had a great positioning to free hit but he ulted in trying to kill a half HP Yone.
He missed his w which is like almost all his damage. But still Yone has shield bow and death dance... Might've put him on very low hp but I don't think it would've killed, and diving that when he could've just played front to back, yeah bad idea. HLE completely screwed up the engage there by pressing all their buttons on a skarner

Because I didn't have a horse in the race, I could just relax, sit back, not stress about which team is winning and watch some crazy, amazing league of legends.

In the final teamfight he played so disgustingly dog shit my eyes started bleeding. I'm exaggerating but the zero respect for delight then the zhonyas instead of flashing out. He looks pretty fucking tilted with his mind not inside the game.
i would LOVE to play Sera and the enemy team didn't buy MR because i'm a mage, as the HLE team didn't buy armor against Smolder and Ezreal, just two of the most stronger champs at this moment in league 😮💨
If I 1v1 Against Smolder, I'd rather have some more lifesteal rather than armor because he has true damage burn. For the game 1 though, HLE's adcs need to kill anyone on sight quick or they're fucked by Smolder so them going for armor pen and life steal was a great choice as they can 1v1 both adcs in quick success.
As someone who watched LCK Summer Finals live and followed HLE since CLID was on the team, Doran is an ELO Terrorist. He ran it down every game he was on anything BUT Jax and thank God that they left it open.

All of HLE played well, GEN G adc and jgl were slow to start a couple of the games. Especially the second half.

If you're asking if anyone but either of these teams is going to win worlds, probably not. It'll probably be GenG, HLE, or Bilibili winning.

i do love the beginning montage and the nice yone pic in the beginning but it kinda threw away who was the winner (you could see which nexus was being attacked) so that made the last game much less exciting than the other two so imo dont put too many spoil indicators next time pls :)

Im a T1 fan but Im kinda glad they lost. They havent been playing well and GenG would have rollee them worst then they did to WBG in last years finals
Gen G loses too many teamfights during the last 2 games and that pressure of losing just slowly eating them from the inside.
Idk what to feels, the fight are too good but it's ironic too, most game have 4 ADC n less mages, but it felt so balance no oneshot by one mage.. the fight full of long fight n high risk high reward fight
My honest opinion, MOST metas should just be played out for a longer time AS LONG AS there isnt a SINGLE abusable strat. Yeah, this year was ADC-kingdom, but that ADC-kingdom has forced teams to adapt and bring out specific counters and also kind of created a very interesting Drafting meta. ADC-mids are strong, so neitralising/poke picks like Ziggs and Corki come up. With Corki you have Azir, whith these squishier comps, tank/AP junglers are higher prio, which brought out Mordekaiser and Nasus (which also works well against ADCs. Nasus brought Garen. Lane-swaps pushed top meta into having more tanks.
IT'S NOT PERFECT, but teams recently have been doing much more experimentation and it shows TIME with the meta also helps ofc, but it's just Riot's schoice at the end of the way where they want to take the game at any point of time.
Smolder is so trash it’s crazy… imagine being full build with almost 400 cs and doing little dmg smh

Isn't it peyz who fumbled harder? He sat on top of delight poking him and dealing zero DMG instead of helping the bursting of peanut then went for zhonyas instead of flashing out which sealed his fate.
If it was canyon pls enlighten me as I'm genuinely confused.
@@jdargui1537 Peyz was also bad, but I was taking notice of Skarner not really using his charge to achieve anything of importance. He lands a 3 man ult, but there was simply no damage, he needed to peel, not lock down the enemy. And the charge could have been used to scout and/or secure Drake. Now that I watched it over and over again, all of them did at least one thing wrong during that fight, it's unfortunate.

Can someone elaborate THE FREAKING RUNES from GG on game one? Is the green rune page that broken?
Kinda. It's mostly due to Fleet getting nerfed to the ground and Grasp being the best next thing for most of the champs that used it previously. You lose the movespeed, but u gain a bit more tankiness from the HP stacking. It's been a semi-common pick for higher-levels of play on Smolder specifically.
@@dericktan1576And demolish is really strong in pro play since taking towers as quickly as possible is the current meta strategy.
@@coolbrotherf127 mmhmm, especially with grubs being an actual strong/viable strategy and objective. Which adds to Zigg's strengths and that's partially why Ziggs is an especially strong champion atm
