Grandpa is showing a method of simplier and wisely way of cooking and us filipinoes also doing this technique of cooking by using woods/charcoals with our daily living because its cheeper for us than using gas stove, more than that the smoke of the wood makes the food smells much delicious.

Some of the comments telling grandpa to cook more vegetarian options, or keep the fish cool before cooking it, are just crazy. Look at the surroundings, location and what they have or don't have. It's not like in America where we have the advantage of refrigeration, various diets, etc. The only time we eat or cook outside is when we are camping. They eat and cook outside on a daily basis.
You USA citizens,really pity you. Freezed and packed food all through your life. Here in India we eat fresh and today plucked and caught food, we send the remaining balance to Westerners which they eat probably after an year. Here every day is almost a feast and camping you don't need to go on purposefully. We can pick up anything directly from the nature and eat, whereas you spend 3folds of your life in cleaning, purifying, processing,preserving...........

I see personal cooks who have channels for personal benefits so what's wrong with Grandpa's? Some of us are here for traditional authentic indian recipes in their realest form unlike most modern indian chefs who always present their own variations. This is free info and it even greater to see its geared towards charity. If he was working in a restaurant then probably he wouldn't be able to make these videos so if youtube can make him a little cash whats wrong? l dont believe he makes that much money as many make it look.
To be honest I think the whole internet is full of negativity. People will just be petty and make up any sort of excuses to say rude and mean things. Luckily there are more nice people than haters in Grandpa's channel so I think maybe the best is that we ignore those mean ones and keep spreading positivity 💛😊
