I make meds by putting whole garlic in a jar (peeled and semi-crushed) with thin sliced ginger and a few shakes of cayanne pepper then covered with honey and capped in a cool dark spot for a month. I have known about Elder berries since I was 3 or 4 years old. I have also eaten more elder berries than I can remember. Just remember one thing about elder berries, eat or consume only the berries and eliminate the stems or leaves as they are poisonous! Dandelions, holy basil, Indian Gooseberry could have also been on the list. But Elderberry , the first one mentioned, is by far the best one. Nothing works faster except Chloride Dioxide but CD is not an herb.

I use Dottera Essential oils. they are highly concentrated. I don't need to use a kg to get the health benefits and they are way less messy. Because I am a consultant I basically get my oils free each month.

I swear by elderberry - a shot of the concentrate a day or a few more if I feel something coming on. Haven't had a cold (or the flu, but never really had that) in about 4 yrs, used to have at least one annually.
Me too. I take the capsules everyday for allergies. I have year round allergies. Have been sick since Lord knows when because of it. I use to get sinus infections all the time. Elderberry is awesome.
