Was this game rigged or something? Why would Russell Wilson spike the ball and waste a down. Why did he hike the ball with 12 seconds left on the playclock while on the 23 instead of milking it and then the next two plays he has to waste a timeout and he barely gets the play snapped? Why would the refs not review the PI on the 49ers? This game seems all kind of rigged and don't tell me it's because it's a pressure situation, Russell Wilson is a 31 year old man who has been playing football his whole life and a 2nd grader playing Madden could understand situational football, it's not exactly rocket science.

Well if they had snapped the ball in time and spiked it it just would have been a loss of down and a reset of the play clock, so the thinking was correct. They just didn’t get the ball snapped in time.

The Highground sort of, there was also an injured player on the field. An Olineman was hurt but they were afraid of the run off plus subbing people in, so he mid way through said he was fine, it then ruined the substitutions and everything went into chaos.

3:35 -- Even after a tremendous goal line stand by the 49ers, the game was not yet over. Thankfully, Garoppolo didn't fumble the snap like Josh Allen did against the Vikings on 11/13/2022. That would have been a disasterous turn of events!

If the defense gets there while milking, it's a safety, if the QB doesn't get out of the pocket and just throws it away with no receiver's, it's a safety. With a safety the kick off still happens even if there's no time on the clock. And that could result in a run back for a touchdown or if the ball was short enough the Seahawks could have called for a fair catch which allows a FG try even if there's no time on the clock, and no one can attempt to block it. So that could go south in a hurry from potentially being able to score 5 points and tying or 8 and winning it all.

Seattle has the ball at the San Francisco 6 with 12 seconds remaining. It’s 4th down and goal. The winner of this game wins the division and gets a home playoff game; the loser: their path to the Super Bowl is much more difficult meaning their championship quest starts on the road.

Look at pete carroll's reaction after hollister did that offensive PI. He wasn't angry, he wasn't livid, he wasn't challenging the play, he wasn't screaming for a flag. He knew what he tried to scheme up didn't work and he knew he would've lost the challenge regardless. contact on the defensive player - nothing that rises to the level of a
foul which significantly hinders the defender, nothing that is clear and
obvious through visual evidence, which hinders the defender,” Riveron
said. “The defender then braces himself. And there is contact then by
the defender on the receiver. Again, nothing which rises to the level of
a foul based on visual evidence. Nothing happens that rises to the
level of a foul while the ball is in the air before it gets there by
either player.”

@@alphaomegastables Sorry, I know it stings but your bias is making it worse than it really is. #1 The Receiver made contact with the defender, not the other way around. #2 Running into the defender was a offensive foul on its own because the Line Of Scrimmage was at the 6 yard line. The contact occurred at the Goal line, which is beyond 5 yards and is passed the point of legal contact. #3 The defender has every right to stand his ground and he did. #4 If you truly want to play by the letter of the rules, then the play should have ended there. #5 Refs aren't idiots and they've seen it all. One of the most common acts of desperation for a receiver is to get in close in an attempt to hide the push off to create separation on a defender. The refs simply seen right through Hollister's acting attempt. The entire route was an attempt at a free flag in the biggest moment of the game to decide the NFC West champ. It's not gonna happen. Refs are always gonna let them play unless it's 100% egregious. #6 Every commentator, analyst and media talking heads opinion means nothing as their sole job is to sell you the *drama* of the game.

At this point just have every penalty booth reviewed. It'll slow the game down but you won't have these dumbass moments anymore. For easy plays like holding give the refs a little pager or something so the booth guys can just buzz them really quick saying right call without slowing the game down over an obvious call.
