The shabby repertory company The Cosgood Players seems to specialize in mysteries as members of the troupe shuffle off this mortal coil in alarmingly rapid succession. Luckily, the Players have a detective in the cast: their newest (if not quite ingenue) thespian, the redoubtable Miss Marple. Margaret Rutherford takes her final bow as Miss Marple in "Murder Most Foul," a mystery most fun inspired by Agatha Christie's "Mrs. McGinty's Dead."
Directed By George Pollock
Starring Margaret Rutherford, Ron Moody, Charles 'Bud' Tingwell

No one like Margaret Rutherford
She was in a class of her own.
RIP dear angel.
We all miss your greatness on screen.
Xxx
I couldn't have put it better myself, the world would be a brighter place if she were still here.
.My favourite scene in this gem of a film.Margaret was adorable and unique.Megs Jenkins was always good too ; quite underrated.
As a kid i loved these movies.
Is there something such as "Milchester" in the whole of Britain?
As a kid i was always trying to find Milchester on the map, lol.
My Favourite of the Margaret Rutherford Miss Marple films.
Respect, ich habe das nie in dieser Qualität gesehen. Danke :-))))))
i wish someone would post Margaret’s old movies
I keep trying to post her 12 minutes of Oscar greatness from “The V.I.P.s,” but RUclips won’t allow it. I wonder why all the other movie bits are available here.
Megs was great as the housekeeper in THE INNOCENTS
Margaret Rutherford was miss Marple at her finest
Come on! Rutherford was a fine actress but these films have absolutely NOTHING to do with Miss Marple as written by Agatha Christie. Read one of the book or watch Joan Hickson in the classic BBC series. Her sensitive and skilled performance - in scripts which are absolutely faithful to the stories written by Christie - is exceptional. These Rutherford films are fine - but they're slapstick and cartoon-like compared to BBC/Hickson.
Superbă interpretare.
Did anyone else catch that the playbills were from another Agatha Christie story, "Murder She Said"?
😂🤣😂😂🤣😂. Used to watch her every Saturday morning, until some Einstein decided to take her off TMC.
Würde mir gern mal auf Deutsch ansehen.

Murder most foul is from 1965!
No. Murder Most Foul IS from 1964. The Alphabet Murders, with Tony Randall as Poirot and also starring Robert Morley, is from 1965 in which Margaret Rutherford and Stringer Davis make cameo appearances as Miss Marple and Mr Stringer in a scene where they walk past Poirot who is on his doorstep.
